An older place, which has continuously been taken care of. I have stayed here several times over the years as the halfway point between my home in the north and my destinations in the south. Kudo's to keeping this place extremely affordable and clean. No frills but all you need - comfortable bed, functional bathroom, TV and internet.

This is an older but very well kept property. The breakfast area is small and the breakfast is not memorable. Staff was pleasant and I enjoyed the stay. Would stay at this property again.

This cute little (and very affordable) hotel was very clean and well-maintained. My daughter and I had arrived later than I had anticipated, but there was no problem with a late check-in. Our room was quiet and clean, and the beds were very comfortable. The free breakfast was a plus with a convenient waffle maker as well as other options such as cereal and yogurt, plus fresh hot coffee with flavored creamers. Every staff member I had contact with was very pleasant and helpful. I would absolutely consider staying at this hotel again when I pass through Mt. Airy on my way to or from FL.

Clean and comfortable beds - what else is needed for overnight stay. Next to a large truck/gas stop but noise didn't carry too bad. Breakfast is just cereal and waffles so we went out.

Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Reception service was really bad. Apparently there is a disagreement between Bryson Inn and Expedia with the respect to the room price, and they want me to resolve it and call Expedia. We are over 70 years old, so after 10 hours of driving, we were really looking forward to get a good rest, but it wasn't easy. After one hour of waiting and multiple discussions, we were given keys to the room on the second floor, but they didn't work, because the room was was already occupied. They did this twice to us (we had to climb stairs twice, there is no elevator) we were pretty upset about this whole situation. Finally they gave us keys to the room that we could enter. We will never to stay at this hotel again for sure.

The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast attendant in the morning was very helpful and friendly. She went out of her way and made our waffles. The hotel is very reasonably priced And with the free breakfast and the friendly attendant was a bonus ~ made for a pleasant stay!

Everything was fantastic at the inn, staff friendly and helpful. My issue is with expedia in that I had a reservation which the inn didn't show. Lucky for us they had 2 rooms otherwise we would have been in trouble.
