The room was a basic, utilitarian, room with a small kitchenette in the hallway between the bathroom and the bedroom. As others mentioned, the shower was a bit difficult to use, as the shower head mounts at knee level. There's no free maid service, so take care of your towels if you are staying more than one or two nights. You may need to buy/bring some soap/shampoo, as well as toilet paper. And, they only provide body towels.
The real challenge is the noise form the train station behind the hotel. Every announcement is preceded by a three note, attention getting, call. With trains coming in throughout the day from very early to very late, these calls are heard many times an hour. I brought a white noise machine and set it up next to the window. It worked wonders and drowned out the noise.
