We booked this hotel because we wanted a typical postcard type of beach, and it did not disappoint !
We had originally booked a bungalow with kitchenette but had to postpone our trip and ended up getting a regular beach-side bungalow. It was simple, with the bear necessities ( mini fridge, towels, 2in1 shampoo & conditioner, little bar of soap ( I recommend bringing your own ).
It was warm and the fan was not powerful enough to really cool down the room, but we still had a good night sleep, slept with all the windows open ( beware of the roosters, like everywhere in Tahiti, they won't let you sleep past 5:30 ).
Back to the beach: absolutely beautiful ! Nice lounge chairs that you can put in the water, lots of tiny fish for snorkeling. We found the best spot to be past the pier, less coral, perfect for kids !
The hotel has bikes and 2 canoes available for free, there's also a Canoe Shack on the beach that offers lots of activities ( whale watch, canoeing, etc ).
Their parking lot gets full real quickly, we parked across the street when it was full.
Little convenience stores nearby were practical to buy stuff like water and breakfast items ( the ones offered at the restaurant on the beach is pricy but coffee and tea is still affordable ), beware, the shops close at 7pm. We had dinner at Creperie Le Motu just minutes away.
Friendly staff, helped me change my reservation and fix issues I had with Expedia.
After the 10am checkout, you are able to stay on the grounds longer.
