Great stop off after the afternoon ferry to Dieppe
I was nearly put off by the stated 2pm - 6pm booking in time, but I rang and was answered in perfect English - booking in later did not present a problem. The evening meal was fine and the staff were very friendly. The nearby village is a short and pleasant walk, but nothing was open in the evening (it was September).
Good location for a stop off on the way south. Restaurant opens Monday to Thursday in the evenings. Good food and friendly service. We will use this friendly hotel again.
Hotel was shut when I got there. Turned out reception shuts at 6pm. Owners weren't too happy being disturbed at nearly 10, but given Hotel com allowed me to book at 7.30, I wasn't to know. Room had everything I needed, comfortable bed. Hotel was quite nice, definitely would visit again.
Hotel was lovely and clean, Staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel doesn't serve food every night so I suggest you plan a head as local town has limited choices.
Lovely hotel and position, however we were concerned when we first arrived as there was a lorry park next to the hotel - although you couldn't see it from the hotel. Luckily we stayed on a Saturday night and hence there was no noise on the Sunday morning. However, during the night there was noise from the 'cooler' lorries as the fridges kept starting up. OK if the windows were shut but with no air con. I guess summer could be a problem.

Overnight stay
Hotel is fine for an overnight stay if travelling through France to UK, but is situated in a quiet location and the decor is rather dated and not very appealing.
Having navigated the hotel Maril & I were delighted with our overnight stay.
Very acceptable room with king size bed, excellent shower and great wi-fi access.
The highlight was a truly superb dinner, good taste, good presentation, good price and affordable wines. Would be hard put to find anything negative to say.
Very interesting little town that will have to be explored

Reasonable hotel
Reasonable hotel but let down by cigarette smoke pervading corridor and yet another example of an hotel chosen for it's advertised restaurant which turned out to be closed. Hotels really need to be clear on this issue.
THIS WAS A VERY PRETTY HOTEL WITH GOOD ALL ROUND FACILITIES. THE STAFF WERE VERY WELCOMING. THE RESTAURANT WAS MADE AVAILABLE TO US GIVEN THAT IT WAS A POST CHRISTMAS QUIET TIME. THE FOOD WAS SIMPLE BUT WELL PRESENTED. WE WOULD DEFINITELY STAY AGAIN AS A CONVENIENT OVERNIGHT STOP BETWEEN CALAIS AND BORDEAUX.
Quiet with car park in a rural environment. Good for the dog, dinner not available after a long drive on a Friday night (had to go into town). Breakfast service slow but they were busy.
Chambre simple mais assez spacieuse. Literie correcte.
