“Great Place in Pacific Grove”
Our room was large, clean and very comfortable. The Staff at the desk were helpful and we were delighted to be offered complimentary Breakfast and the evening BBQ- also complementary - was a great way to get together with fellow guests. The food was good too - even had Veggie Burgers for a non-meat eater like me. A great place for Families and the Pool Area is ideal for children. Great location for the Beach and short drive to Cannery Row and all the attractions there. We really enjoyed 17 Mile Drive too - though the views from the sea front here were just as good.
“A beautiful hotel in a beautiful seaside town”
We absolutely loved this hotel! We were pleasantly surprise on check-in to discover that not only was breakfast included but also an afternoon bbq! Both meals were generously supplied and a must if you stay here. Our room was very quaint complete with a faux log fire. The swimming pool and spa were so inviting that we had to use them despite moderate/mild temperatures! Staff were good and waived extra payments in light of the fact that our patio door didn't shut/lock properly on the first night and the internet access was unsatisfactory. Because the staff understood and dealt with these issues it didn't spoil our stay here. We can't recommend this hotel enough!
“Pacific Grove”
Just returned from a California road trip 2 adults 2 kids 8 and 11. We stayed at this hotel and were very satisfied with the accomodation. The area of pacific grove is a community all of it's own with fantastic architecture and quaint small town shops in it's village centre. It hugs the coastline and is adjacent to the impressive 17 mile drive. The cannery row and aquarium areas of Monterey just down the road. The staff were very helpful and the kids enjoyed the small heated pool which is obviously recently refurbished along with the hot tub. The room was spacious enough and very clean, although a bit dark and dated with dark coloured decor and carpet, and only one lamp to light the whole main room at night. How ever I'm sure if I had asked the desk would have sent another lamp - and we were hardly in anyway. The fridge and microwave were handy and there was a complimentary BBQ at 1630 which fed us all really well and avoided us paying for another meal ! Overall for the price we paid this was a good value hotel.
