Great suite. Great view. Good staff. Great place. All round it was excellent. Also of note: Funicular railway up to the lovely montecatini alto, where there's some great restaurants was literally 5 mins walk from the michelangelo hotel.

Decent but be careful which room you book
There are two different kind of rooms on this hotel. The one I stayed was an old room with dated furniture etc There are more modern and probably much better, so be careful what you book

Relazing in the Tuscan Sun
I had 4 lovely days by the pool. I wanted a quiet, relaxing placebbut close to everything. Hotel Michangelo fit the bill. The lobby is spacious and modern. The hotel restaurant food was tasty and inexpensive. Buffet breakfast had a lot of variety and it's included in the price of the room!

reception good, received key, room unmade!! Not had that experience before.Room large but bathroom odd shape sat on loo side saddle because paper holder in wrong position!Shower over bath but no curtain.Very weak water jet. Too many dogs for our taste. Breakfast excellent. Super choice. Evening meals very good. Salad buffet was outstanding.Opted for that each evening for starter.Staff very helpful.Enjoyed stay despite bathroom probs. Monticatini excellent for motorway access.

Review
The hotel was clean and our rooms were comfortable. The quality of food was really good and the price on the menu was reasonable. It was a shame that the receptionist was full of attitude and at times rude ( even when we were asking for directions). She answered all of our questions with raised eyebrows and rudeness. I believe staff need some sort o training to treat the paying customers with respect and dignity.

Notre séjour s'est bien passé. Seul l'accueil de la réception était décevant. Aucune explications sur les alentours, les visites à faire, s'il y a une navette à l'hôtel et s'il y a des possibilités d'acheter des billets pour les visites . Le personnel de l'accueil ne parle pas français. Pas de marquages pour les places de parking. D'où perte de place. Le tour de la piscine est dangereux aussi. Sinon tout était parfait. Félicitations au cuisinier et merci aux employés des chambres et du restaurant.

Excellent rapport qualité prix
Acceuil sympathique, parking ombragé appréciable en été, chambre très fonctionnelle, piscine très correcte, personnel très sympathique et disponible. Hotel proche du parc thermal pas très loin du centre ville. nous avions réservé 2 nuitées mais nous serions bien resté 2 nuitées supplémentaires notamment du fait que Montecatini termes est le point de départ de nombreuses excursions par car ou train ou voyagistes à destination de toute la toscane.

Un buon tre stelle, certo non 4! Letto che scricchiola paurosamente, pastrelle del balcone completamente sbrecciate, 2 sole bottigliette di acqua nel frigobar, impossibilità di avere un tappeto antisdrucciolo nella doccia che aveva come pavimento...il pavimento, quindi sdrucciolevole dopo la doccia.

Hotel Michelangelo....una scoperta !
L'hotel è situato nella zona verde di Montecatini per cui d'estate beneficia delle serate fresche e nelle camere non necessita l'accensione dell'aria condizionata. Molto accogliente la hall, la piscina sempre in perfetto ordine, personale sempre all'altezza delle situazioni e pronto a rispondere alle esigenze degli ospiti. Le camere spaziose e ben pulite, grazie al balcone si beneficia di una vista sugli uliveti delle vicine colline toscane. La colazione è di alto livello, forse manca un angolo per celiaci ma potrei non averlo visto.

Leuk en proper hotel gelegen in een mooi stadje waar elke avond wel iets te doen is.. Vriendelijk personeel. Lekker en zeer uitgebreid ontbijt. 1 minpuntje: onze 'familiekamer' was vrij klein voor 2 volwassenen en 2 kinderen. Slechts 1 kast.

God pool
God morgenmad efter italiensk standard. Manger frisk frugt for at være perfekt. Boede på 2 forskellige værelser. Det første på 1.sal havde støj fra vaskemaskine i stue og ikke nyt badeværelse, men med kar. Det 2. På 2 sal var helt istandsat, men her virkede det kolde vand i bruseren ikke i starten. Det blev fikset. Mc og 3-4 bilen kan holde ved hotellet, øverige har de p plads lige overfor hotellet bag indhegning. Ligger 10-15min op ad bakken fra byen. Dejligt pool område

Soggiorno di lavoro per una notte, Staff molto professionale e gentile, Cena al ristorante di gradimento completo, camera confortevole con vista panoramica molto gradevole arredata con molto gusto. L'hôtel ne mérite pas ses 4 étoiles. Il fut certainement très bien à la belle époque. La devanture est vieillissante. Certes, le hall et les abords de la piscine sont agréables. Cependant, l'isolation des chambres est insuffisante. Et le petit déjeuner est très moyen.
