(Many people don’t know about this option). The hotel provides great robes as well as slippers. Big room and bathroom; great balcony. We had a view of the rock columns and Kastraki. Staff was helpful and we would stay again. "

"This is a new property in Kastraki, which is a 15 min walk or 5 euro taxi ride from the town of Kalambaka. Kastraki is a small, quaint village at the foot of the monasteries in Meteora. There is a lovely family run restaurant just at the end of the road, and a bakery across the street. The rooms themselves are well designed, modern and comfortable. For a fee, ask about late check out. It’s very much worth it given the transportation options out of Kalambaka. I’d definitely come back again!"
