A really lovely property but not really a resort- restaurant and bar didn't seem to be open, very functional breakfast with upcharge for most meals, and all outdoor space closed despite warm weather. Rooms very clean and well appointed.

A very modern boutique hotel set in a fort in the coastal town of Molfetta, about 30mins north of Bari. It is not a very big hotel which adds to the charm. The staff are very helpful and welcoming. The place has been done in a very modern minimalist style which has a calming effect - something very much needed on a holiday. We had booked a junior suite which was very spacious, clean and maintained well. The breakfast, part of the room, is order only which is different to what we have been used to - buffet. We did like this option as there was minimal wastage. But the choices were very limited. The location is fairly good - about an hour’s drive from all the major tourist spots. Molfetta as a town has nothing much which makes it less crowded. Overall a good stay and experience.

Dogana Resort was perfect! The service, the delicious a la carte breakfast, the mini fridge filled with various beverages and restocked daily, the friendly and professional staff, the cleanliness of the room and of the whole hotel, and of course the location! We couldn't have been happier and will definitely go back there! Grazie!

Breakfast is a bit basic but very good service and quality. Bedrooms are large and comfortable with a high standard. Convenient location to nearby restaurants and old town. Highly recommended!

The hotel is amazing. The staff is extraordinarily professional. The rooms are immaculate, beautiful comfortable and quiet. I had a massage. Therapist was amazing. I can’t wait to come back. Also, the breakfast was delicious.

Most of the staff was nice but the manager was not nice or friendly. He made me feel like he felt the he was better than me . He was arrogant and did not care.otherwise the hotel is new and nice and the area is beautiful with many inexpensive but excellent restaurants. There is also no easy parking. The town is beautiful and everything is there

Very nice service in an excellent hotel. You don’t need to be in the city center of Bari if you have a car . You can enjoy this comfortable hotel and move everywhere.

This resort is impressive. The rooms were new, large with great views of the town and ocean. The staff was amazing, helpfull able to help with any request. The roof terrace has a bar and tables to eat and drink while looking out at the town and ocean. A great place to watch the sunset. Giovanni at the restaurant was gracious, professional and friendly. This is the place to stay when traveling to Molfetta. We look forward to our next stay.

Gorgeous Historic Hotel
Our room was modern and spotless with a balcony just as photographed, a wonderful and logical amount of technology intertwined into an ancient building. The room had 25ft ceilings and a bathroom fit for a king. The breakfast and staff were kind, and attentive especially by Italian standards.

A beautiful out of the way boutique hotel in a historic building. We stayed in a large Junior Suite with a gorgeous port view. Staff and service impeccable. A hidden gem.

Elegant new hotel with stunning rooftop terrace.
The Dogana Resort is a new hotel spectacularly located on the port with a stunning roof top terrace. It should be noted that the terrace isn't officially open yet but will be soon and once it is, a meal or aperitivo up there will be spectacular. We had a beautiful room overlooking the port and with the double glazed windows it was very silent during the night. The staff was friendly and the breakfast which was included in the ratewas delicious we can particularly recommend the local fresh ricotta cheese with honey. Molfetta was refreshingly untouristy which we really enjoyed and a nice spot from which to explore Pulgia. We look forward to visiting again.

One to remember
The Dogana hotel, surpassed all expectations. The building is stunning. The interior design is Italian style at its best. The staff are friendly, helpful and eager to please. I would highly recommend staying at this beautiful hotel. I definitely will return in the future.

Très bel hôtel sur le port mais toutes les chambres ne donnent pas sur la mer… donc un peu cheres pour avoir une vue sur un immeuble. Les chambres sont spacieuses. Le petit dejeuner est très bien. Le toit terrasse est vraiment magnifique. Nous n’avons pas testé le spa mais ça avait l’air bien.
