“Time for upgrading hotel.”

This hotel needs some upgrading and a good cleaning!

“Very nice place with friendly personell”

I stayed at the Hotel for 5 nights. My room was clean. Bed was very comfortable. There was a refrigerator, microwave, iron and ironing board as well as a comfortable recliner and nice selection of TV channels. Would have liked a bigger vanity in the bathroom, but, for the price it can't be beat. Was so surprised to find that the bed had a nice down comforter. I've stayed at 5 star hotels so I know what it's like to have luxury. It met my needs plus. Would definitely go back and suggest it to others.

“Will not go back”

We had a broken chair, the sink didn't work and we could hear the people above us everytime the walk across the floor, which was of course late at night. The ceiling would squeek when they walked. We also had very bad pillows so we went and brought a pair the next day at K-Mart. Very thin towels.Not happy at all.......

“I guess its expected at super 8”

Not too impressed, wished we spent more. The room was out of date, needed repairs, & better cleaning. a "butcher board" formica vanity top, to give you an idea of the style. The clerks didn't have any rooms to move us to, in order to change. Indoor pool was murky, looked like it needed to be shocked/chlorine treatment. Outdoor pool murky and had debris in the bottom and floating - needed cleaning. We opted not to go swimming w/ our kids. Outdoor pool and playground area is shared w/ campground. Both are adjacent to interstate 90, but noise wasn't a problem for us. We did use the outdoor playground, which was better than nothing. All in all we got what we paid for for the touristy location of Mitchell. Corn Palace - I had low expectations of this, and we didn't go just to visit this attraction but didn't realize this is just a city auditorium w/ a corn decorated facade. Which, in June, was in progress, so there was nothing to see. We entered and realized it was really a large gift shop. Save you self the trouble or do no more than drive by to check out the exterior. The corn palace is just one example in south dakota where a whole town has one attraction to pull in tourists for everything, then heavily market it on the interstate.

“Not what I expected!”

Asked for a quiet room, did not get one. Had a Hot Tub, was not Hot! Bed was hard. Window shade was poor, light comes in around curtian. Between the light and noise issue, did not get much sleep. Breakfast was Ho-Hum...nothing to write home about.

“Super 8 Mitchell”

Not bad for the price. Clean room, hot tub next to the lobby, nice pool. Staff was friendly and efficient. Not the greatest room in the world, but you get what you pay for. Breakfast was cereal, toast, waffles, oj and coffee...hey it was free. Small South Dakota style casino on site, but all the machines were in need of repair. Refridgerators are evidentally optional. On the way to Yellowstone, had no fridge...on the way back to MKE got one. Discounts for AAA or AARP members...mention at check in, Very easy on and off from I-90...great on the go hotel. (Not a place I would book for more than a night to sleep)
