Would like to give a shout out to staff Brett. This young man was only 3 weeks into his job and he went above and beyond. Brett was welcoming upon arrival, informative about our stay, and efficient with our checkin. He offered to help bring our baggage to the rooms. Brett also offered suggestions for things to do in the area. Not to mention, the hotel was BUSY, there was 28 check ins! Upon returning to the hotel for our second night he greeted us with a smile and by name, spoke to our children about their dance competition, congratulating them on their performances. This made our children feel special and they were so proud to talk about their day. Brett listened attentively to each of them as they excitedly shared all the details. Huge “THANK YOU” to Brett for the amazing customer service and making our stay that much better ☺️

Nice hotel for the price. The hold for incidentals is way too high for a 2-star hotel…more than double the cost of a one night stay which makes no sense.

Starting with its location, it’s nothing to write home about. It sits in a rather industrial spot, next to what appears to be an abandoned bridge. I can’t recommend it to anyone who is physically challenged because it has no elevator to reach the second floor. Plan to lug your belongings up a stairwell to a second floor room if you are assigned one. The front desk didn’t even ask if it would be a problem for me. I booked this motel in order to attend the solar eclipse. The property feels like something straight out of the ‘70’s. The bed was bouncy and the bathtub spout almost came off in my hand when I went to turn on the shower. In summary, I’d have to say it was a rather depressing place to stay, but for one night in order to see a total eclipse of the sun, it did the trick.

Our staff checked on the concern as the treadmill is the only one works with the power and unfortunately the breaker was tripped, and it was turned back on, so it works fine now; i am truly very sorry for the inconvenience; having said that, I must say that the dumbbells and cycle have no issues at all and they both work completely fine, so not sure what happened there, but i am very sorry dear. The customer service was above and beyond. We loved the restaurant in the hotel so much! The pool was very nice, great temperature and clean. The free breakfast was pretty standard but good. Next time I would bring my own pillows as we found the bed and pillows not very comfortable but overall we were so happy.

Even though I don’t live far away, I bring my grandkids here when they are on their breaks for a swim and a night at a hotel, and they really enjoy it. This hotel is very nice and the staff are friendly. We have made many trips here and we enjoy each one of them.

Only reason why I’m doing 4 stars was because the pressure in the bathroom wasn’t the best and when we got there there was a guy putting down carpet in the hall we were staying in. I feel like that could have been avoidable and we could have been placed in another hall so we were t walking on the carpet every time we needed to leave the suite. Other than that very friendly staff great breakfast and comfortable room. We’ll be back around Christmas time next year!

Surpassed our expectations
Although an older hotel, it’s undergone significant renovations, including new carpet, so it feels much newer. Front desk staff were very friendly. The restaurant is a hidden gem. Excellent service, a large menu and awesome food. The braised beef short rib is to die for. We were up in time to enjoy a spectacular sunrise and watched the antics of three huge bald eagles out on the ice on the partially-frozen river.
