Had old Europe plugs asked for them to order us a cab waited 3 hours and was told the cab was given to someone else didn’t get to do nothing on our holiday because of this and manager refused to give us a refund overall experience was rubbish don’t stay here

Great helpful staff, large room with a large balcony in a very quiet area. Not many options for food in the area but there is a pub within walking distance. Hotel has allot of parking area and a great breakfast. Well worth the stay

I found some live bedbugs in the room. The room smelt like someone has smoked in it. The manager did not have any other room available and did not offer any relocation solution, we had to leave in the middle of the night with nowhere to go, we did not sleep in the hotel. I had to decontaminate all my belongings before going home , in a freezer, to eliminate all bedbugs, which costed 200 CHF. Worst hotel experience of my life.

Used the hotel for an overnight stop and was very pleased with it. Hotel was clean, room was very big and bed comfortable. Breakfast was good value at 5 euro. There isn't much around the hotel if you are looking for dining options but Sesto Calende with its many restaurants is only a ten minute drive away.

We had booked three rooms , problems with all rooms. We were only there for 4 nights but the problems were not resolved. No air conditioning in Two rooms and no tv connection, no mini fridge, one of the rooms the lights weren’t working properly and another room the windows didn’t open. In Italy it was really hot, so we needed air conditioning and windows to open. The staff were really nice though regardless of the issues.

Disappointing
This stay was very disappointing for me and my family due to the following points: 1. We opened our room door to find that the door knob immediately fell off- not very safe especially with two kids!! 2. The light in our bathroom was flickering- surely this is something you fix for your guests but maybe that’s just me! 3. The lighting in the room was very dark 4. Bed and headboard was very uncomfortable 5. In the middle of nowhere so you really need to drive if you want to stay here 6. Oh and if you ask about the airport shuttle that’s stated in the description as “available 24 hours” and “25 euros” it’s a lie!! We were told that it was not available even though we saw the minivan shuttle parked and did I mention that they said it would be 50 euros instead of the 25 stated in the description of the hotel. 7. So then we had to pay an external taxi driver (that the hotel staff recommended) 40 euros for a short drive to the airport. We felt scammed!! We will not be returning to this hotel as we felt very misled and lied to. The only nice thing was the breakfast! We feel like being honest is key as this will help other guests choose their stay very wisely. If you have a car, it might be a better option for you.

If you advertise 24/7 airport shuttle then that’s what you should provide. We booked a stay here for a layover and had no way to call for the shuttle with the number going to answering service and no taxi would bring us because it’s actually quite far away and not “connected to the airport” like was advertised.

If you don’t have a car do not stay here. You will be trapped here. It’s off of a highway with nothing but the trees around. Very secluded, no restaurants or stores within walking distance.

Value Hotel Between MXP Airport & Lake Maggiore
Very friendly and helpful staff at reception. Clean and comfortable room with complimentary bottled water. Can park in covered garage or some rooms have a back door to single parking space. Breakfast was adequate and the staff tried hard to keep it resupplied.

Pretty decent for a one night stay
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Bumped us up to a junior suite because they ran out of the normal rooms. Bed was not very comfortable but was doable for a one night stay. Breakfast was pretty good.

Hotel not in the best working order
The lobby is attractive and the staff is pleasant. Check in was easy. There is no dinner in the hotel, but there is a refrigerated vending machine in the lobby with pasta entrees to heat up in the microwave (which is in the breakfast area) - but the guy at the desk warned us not to buy the entrees because the microwave is broken. So we ordered pizza for delivery. Our room had a couple issues - the a/c didn't work and the refrigerator didn't work. We didn't get much sleep in the room with no a/c. We reported it in the morning, and the guy at the front desk came up twice to try and fix it, and was not able to get it working so he had us move to a different room. It is kind of a hassle to pack up all our stuff and move it, but at least the new room was nice and cool with working a/c. The refrigerator worked there too. The breakfast downstairs had plenty of variety - eggs, meat, cereal, fruit, rolls, croissants, yogurt. The "meat" on the breakfast buffet was sliced up hot dogs, and the warmer didn't work very well so the eggs and meat were just kind of lukewarm. The coffee machine worked the first morning but wasn't working the second morning. So overall breakfast was just OK. We got the shuttle service to the airport and it was 25 euro. It takes about 20-25 minutes to get to Terminal 1 from the hotel.

This hotel is fake. It says it’s close to the airport but it’s very far. I paid 35 euros for a taxi to take me to the hotel from the airport. The name isn’t even its actual name, it’s real name is El Selva. Their isn’t supermarkets or restaurants near the hotel. The refrigerator was broken and wasn’t going to get fixed til Monday. Their wasn’t a coffee maker inside the room. I do not recommend this hotel. One of the worst days on my trip.

Good evening ladies. We are 14 km from Malpensa: it means that we are closed to the airport. About 20 minutes. Our name is BB Hotel Malpensa: La Selva was the old name. We are the starting point of the Parco del Ticino and, as a rule, at the starting point of a natural park, there are no supermarkets or restaurants. We do not have refrigerators in our hotel: only small and not too cold minibar. We ordered a new one and replaced it just for you. We do not have a coffee machine (or coffee machine) in our rooms. About the taxi, the driver was very clear to explain the price. It is up to you, sir, to order a taxi or not. € 35.00 for a night-service is a very reasonable price. If you wanted to complain about your trip, we were all the time at your disposal. Anyway, please contact us directly or send us an email, if you wish, at va.malpensa@hotelbb.com. We were very happy to answer you. We want to thank you for your personal impressions. They are very important to us. Have a nice day, sir!

Location was good, close to the Milan airport. You can't have tea in the room, there is no microwave or any electric supply . Small refrigerator was a plus. Room was clean. Overall it was a good time.

This property was awesome you will get to experience Italy from the county side perspective but with a short ride to Milan or in my case I drove to Switzerland twice to shop at Foxtown in 40 min or so and also the airport was like 10 to 15 min away The hotel was very clean very nice floors and decorated nice it’s nothing around the hotel but trees very nice parking garage super clean overall nice if your planning to book please let my review serve as a go ahead if this is your first time in Europe it could be some adjusting but by euro standards this is awesome I will def go back the staff was very nice they made coffee for us any time we asked plus if you like just around the corner in town there is a few cafe and grocery stores also a health food type store as well just over fabulous area hope my review helped you I travel to Europe alot and this was top notch property very authentic Italian style hotel modern meets classic look enjoy !
