Would not recommend this hostel
Overall condition of the hostel was not clean. Showers had mold everywhere, mops used were not sanitary as the smell in the room after cleaning was that of bleach and there was still dirty floors. Every shower head I saw had nothing to hold it up. Beds sagged in the middle. No railing along top bunks for safety. Staff didn’t help with recommendations or hospitality besides bare minimum. Common areas had weird empty vibe and very little effort made to connect guests like other hostels. Overall lack of effort everywhere. Would not recommend this hostel to anyone traveling to Milan.

I thought it represented good value for money taking into consideration the inflated prices one has to pay for budget hotel, single room accommodation I'd particularly like to commend the breakfast fare and am regretful that I could partake of this at weekends.

Incorrect directions
The stay was okay. It was close to metro but the suburb it was in was dead with nothing to offer. While the staff were okay they gave incorrect directions for a venue I had to go to attend a wedding. This was iinspite of me checking with 4 staff and showing then the correct address on paper. Very pathetic that they gave me directions which was few hundred kns away from the actual place

My adventure in Italy
Was travelling through Italy for football games. Went to four games in six days (different locations). Good accommodation choices from Hotels.com made my adventure easy to deal with. Would definitely use again.

Good place
This hostel is nice and besides that, the breakfast and the dinner is free for every guest. Even if the food for dinner is exactly the same every single day, there is nothing to complain as long as it's free.

Bed bug bites!!
After I stayed at Mio hostel I got very bad bed bug bites on my face, legs and body!! It's been a month and they still haven't dissappeard completely. I complained to them but they didn't give me any compensation or apologies. They just ignored my complaints. Definitely avoid this hostel. It's dirty and the food they provide is very cheap quality that I woudn't be able to eat. No hand soap in any toilets.

Wonderful experience
We had so much fun staying here, and it was our first time in Milan, we couldn't have asked for a better stay. Not only did our room meet and exceed expectations, we were provided with maps, breakfast, dinner, and overall good company. I would highly recommend staying here. It is also very close to the metro line, making it very easy to get to other places within the city.
