The 29-story Fortune House has 296 individually owned and decorated guest suites, all with furnished balconies providing city, pool, or bay views. Amenities include washers and dryers, desks, clock radios, televisions with digital service, and complimentary wireless Internet access. Kitchens have a microwave, full-size refrigerator/freezer, stovetop, coffeemaker, minibar, dishwasher, cookware, and dinnerware.
Guestrooms are all nonsmoking.

“extremely happy”
Fortune House is located on a great central neighborhood in Miami. Our two bedroom flat had an amazing view of the bay. very spacious rooms and confortable bathrooms. Facilities included a washing machine, Tumble dryer and a dish washer. Fantastic! we will go back for sure. The gym and pool area were also great and the front staff very friendly. The most expensive was the vallet parking, but most condos in Miami are like that. great value for money in my opinion!
“Convenient”
This hotel (not really a hotel, more like suites!) is well-located for getting into downtown Miami, as the free Metromover is nearby. [Turn right out of lobby, head west to main road, another right/heading north for one block.] Also there is a large supermarket (Publix) which has a bakery and deli [pass the abovementioned Metromover stop heading west, walk about 2 blocks]. The room was clean (daily), and the furnishings fine -- except for the bed, which sunk in the middle didn't seem securely attached to the headboard (we thought it might collapse!). The washer/dryer were very useful. Beware: though hotel-type toiletries are supplied, there are no cleaning things in the kitchen (the daily cleaner will wash the dishes) nor are there any laundry detergents supplied.
“Great Value for area”
This is not the best hotel you could stay at but as a room suitable for families (separate bedrooms and kitchen) in a very safe neighborhood I think it represents excellent value for money. The breakfast isn't too bad either.
“Excellent cheap (for area) base in Miami Downtown.”
These are one bed apartments with separate lounge/diner including kitchen with breakfast bar. All facilities such as washing machine, dryers, dishwasher etc. Effectice air con. A bit tired round the edges but spacious. It was quiet (we slept like logs - but we were on the 24th floor - maybe more street noise lower down) due to thin windows and frames. Excellent pool with sun most of the day (new nearby skyscraper may impact this but not for a year or so). Eating/bar facilities average but really good cafe with 2 mins walk (Deli Lane). Don't get too excited at 'Sea View' rooms - you need to crane your neck. Also 'City View' means street view! Cleaner came each day but seemed to limit to making bed and wiping bath etc. Probably rather have done it ourselves rather than be concerned whether the cleaner would walk in unannounced. Location is in posh Brickell. 2 mins to waters edge. 2 minutes to (free) metro mover that will take you to Bayside. $20-00 a day to park car!!! Plus Valet tip I assume (we managed to avoid this but that's a long story). You can walk to Bayside in about 20 minutes (brisk) or 30 minutes (leisurely). Safe as well. Most is walking by water. We'd go back.

Nice hotel, valet parking too expensive, eat at the Irish Bar 400 metres away
