“Top Downtown Hotel for Miami”
We chose this hotel as it was highly rated and to be honest, on offer, for a short pre-Christmas break for a week in Miami. We were not bothered about beach as it was after all December and, went more for the 5* hotel experience. The location is perfect for a walk to Bayside Mall and its small offering of shops or to all the eateries of the Brickell area and the uptown restaurants serving the local banking and financial houses. Despite its 5* tag the hotel held no snobbery and we ordered food in from outside the hotel with anything from pizza to a strong recommendation of Perricones Italian restaurant and its excellent italian fare. The room was amazing really comfortable bed and the bathroom was enormous with a bath big enough for 2 ( I am 6'5'') and a huge double shower as well as his and her mirrors. One downside no coffee in rooms however free coffee in entrance "lounge" or a 2 block walk to Starbucks!!! Pool was fabulous and attentive but not annoying staff. This is a high end hotel with a plethora of high rollers utilising it, testament to the cars in front and the yachts parked alongside(Mr Spielberg included). However with no pretentiousness, truly friendly and helpful young staff. We were obliged with a late check out and it seemed nothing would be too much to ask.I would recommend it highly and hope to be back.
“Excellent and friendly service”
A beautiful trendy hotel. I was always greeted with a smile as I entered and exited the hotel. I had a very enjoyable stay. My 19th floor room had a balcony with a nice view of the bay and yachts that dock alongside the hotel. However, because the room was above the 16th floor restaurant's outdoor dining venue, it can be fairly noisy on a Friday night as diners outdoor voices and music get cranked up. Request for a room on a higher floor. The freeway noise can also be heard for those not accustomed to city living. The party scene was fierce at the club located in the hotel's lobby. The pool looked wonderful but unfortunately the weather wasn't warm enough for me to enjoy.
“excellent hotel”
I cannot say anything wrong about the Epic it is a new modern hotel/apartments with great service, we stayed on the club level, the food service was so good on this level that we found we hardly needed to eat out, large excellent rooms, everywhere was very clean and tidy, the pool is heated, towels and chilled water provided, great views of the boats coming passed........would stay again overall excellent hotel.
“High End Hotel for HIGH END PEOPLE”
We checked in, which was easy, and the person that checked us in ask if we were celebrating anything. I told him we were there to celebrate an early 35th birthday for my wife. He had me fill out a paper to get some complimentary strawberries and champagne. The room is Beautiful. The bathroom was large & the bed was comfortable. The balcony was huge, and we had a great view. We tried to go into the club in the hotel, & I was told I wasn't dressed for the club. So I went upstairs to change, as my wife and friends waited for me. We decided to check out the Asian restaurant bar, but it was too packed, headed back to the club. We were then told there was a private event and we couldn't get in. Everyone was very upset and annoyed, so my friend and I walked down to the Walgreens, 3 blocks away to get alcohol for the room. My wife and her friend went to the front desk & said something at the front desk, and the person at the desk went over and said something to the door man, and when the desk person return, he said there was no private party, and we could go in. I would never set foot in the EPIC hotel again because I should never be made to feel like I am beneath the door man. To park the car at the hotel is $32 a day. CRAZY. When we checked out on Sunday, I told the front desk person that the drain was slow in the room, and that we never got the strawberries, so she ask if it was OK to comp me the room service that we received the first night. I said yes, that was fine.
“Nice place”
The hotel was good; but the major issue is that even breakfast is to be paid for. The cost of the room is significant and it is fair to include in it the breakfast!
“can't wait to go back, this hotel is top notch.”
Please stay here, it is defiitely worth it. The overall great service is what keeps us coming back. We stayed for our honeymoon and for our Anniversary also, can't wait to go back
“Style, young, ellegant”
MODERN, GREAT ATMOSPHERE, FRESH, SPACIOUS. MUST SEE
“Love Love Love It”
The best hotel, I want to go back, it was a new hotel, the beds were very comfortable. This hotel is conveniently located to everything walking distance to the mall and the park and all restaurants. All the staff were exeptional and extremely helpful even when we arrived at 8am in the morming from a long flight. Restaurant was great and the wait staff were so friendly and would go out of their way to get you what ever you needed it was an amazing experience and everyone should have one. If you ever have to stay in Miami this is it!!!!
“My Greatest Birthday Experience”
The ambience, service, Club Level, etc all lived up to the expectations that I read on line from the Internet and other Travelers reviews. I was so pleased and impressed with the Hotel that I have plans to return in December. The Club Level experience is well worth it. The staff goes above and beyond to accommodate all of your request from 7 a.m. - 11 p.m. I recommend staying on the 30th floor with a waterview. This view is truly phenominal. There were three yachts at our port when I stayed in September. Every day, I had the pleasure of looking over the balcony and enjoying their view. From the pool, you could overlook the bay and city. The pool attendants set up your towels and umberella for you. In the evenings, across from the pool outside of Area 31 Restaurant, they played nice club music. There was a mixed crowd in attendance and was well behaved at all times. The Zuma Restaurant comes highly recommended and was very busy for Brunch on Sundays. The hotel itself is very Chic and all of the staff members are very friendly and accommodating. I heard other guests say in passing that the EPIC Hotel was the place to be at on Friday evenings. I tend to agree.
“Best hotel I've ever stayed in!”
I had high expectations about Epic due to the reviews I had read before going to Miami and they were matched. The hotel is perfect: location, cleanliness, service, food, comfort. Definitely I'll stay there again in my next trip to Miami!
