"Our stay at the Clarion was disappointing.
The first room had several issues. The refrigerator was not working, and water from the freezer had leaked throughout the refrigerator compartment. The on/off control knob for the refrigerator was missing. The window tracks were dirty and appeared to contain black mold. While soap, lotion, and hair conditioner were provided, there was no shampoo available. The tissue box was also dirty and looked unclean.
The staff moved us to a different room, an upgraded king suite. While the room itself would have been very nice, it had similar housekeeping issues. Once again, there were no tissues in the tissue box, there was an excessive amount of conditioner provided but no shampoo and there was trash left on the bathroom floor.
I reported these concerns to the manager when we checked out. He apologized for the inconvenience and explained that the owner had chosen not to replenish certain supplies. As an example, he mentioned that the juice machine was out of service because replacement juice cartridges had not been purchased.
While the staff was courteous and attempted to address our concerns, the overall condition of the rooms and the lack of basic supplies were disappointing."
