The only two complaints I have would be about the bed and the breakfast. The bed is extremely hard and not comfortable at all and the breakfast is expensive for what it is.

The staff was super friendly when we arrived and very helpful with any questions we had. The room was super clean and well kept. They did forget to give us hand soap in our room or maybe they just don’t supply hand soap either way wasn’t a big deal. There is a lot of shops near by you can go grab some soap for super cheap. I would say overall this is probably the best hotel I’ve stayed at in a very long time!!

Even though there was construction going on, the room itself was very clean and we were able to park in front near our room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Will return and recommend.

I did not like the furnishing, and the fact that we were put in a handicap room which I did not request. The bathroom in the handicap room had very little counter space. The only chair in the room was extremely uncomfortable and the bench seating was on the same wall as the TV, therefore not an option to sit in to watch TV.

Thank you for your feedback! Unfortunately, some of our cheaper options include the handicap rooms. If this mix up ever happens again in the future, please immediately notify the front desk that you are not in need of a handicap room and we will gladly relocate you to one of our standard rooms free of charge, which does have more counterspace in the bathroom. We do also offer deluxe rooms with ample seating and lounging areas as well as dining room tables for gaming and eating, and are not much more in price. We hope to see you next time you make your way to the McCall area!

We've stayed at this property many times over the years but this is our first with the new owner Evergreen. We loved the interior updates. Very nice and comfy and clean. Staff very friendly as always. Everything worked well. Breakfast has changed with only coffee and pastries available for purchase. I had an excellent Americano coffee with speedy service but was looking for higher protein options. The Evergreen is still a great lodging option, the best in McCall for us, and we'll be back.

Nice hotel but pick room location wisely
They put in in a room next to the pool and above the lobby. Pool closes at 11, so it was loud. And being above the lobby we could hear every conversation all night long. It’s a nice hotel, but be careful of the room. We didn’t get much sleep. Also, we stay here every year and love the pool. But there is no longer continental breakfast. And the breakfast they do have is cheap in quality and expensive. Better and cheaper to eat in town. Not that the continental breakfast was ever all that good, but it was convenient and at least included. We are going to start staying other places after this last visit.

Thank you for your feedback! I am sorry to hear your stay did lot meet your expectations this time. We are proud of our remodeled building and new breakfast lounge, but are always looking for ways to make it a better experience for our guests. Unfortunately, the room you were staying in next to the pool has a tendency to be loud on occasion, especially when the hotel is nearing maximum occupancy. If you do decide to stay with us again in the future, you can always call ahead in advance to request a room away from the pool area so that your stay will be quieter during the hours the pool and hot tub are open. Again, thank you for your feedback, we are always looking for ways to improve for our guests when we fall short. Safe travels!

The property is very clean. Our accessible room was great. Only problem we had was that the handheld shower did not work. The overhead did, but it seemed like the handheld was not plumbed in. Hopefully it will get fixed. The room is 134. Otherwise, our stay was very nice.

Friendly staff, clean hotel, huge hot tub, and good pool. We stayed in a newly renovated room that was very comfortable. Beds and pillows were very comfortable also. Would definitely stay again. Only improvement could be a few more options at breakfast, however, breakfast was still pleasant.

We were traveling through during a blizzard and decided to stop. This hotel was one of few avaliable but we chose it based on the exterior and interior pictures which looked decent. Staff at check in was super friendly and professional. She seemed excited to put us in the section of the hotel which was newly renovated. The room itself was decent. After looking around a bit, i started noticing they probably went with the cheapest bid when they did the renovation. This finish work was not great, you could see the subfloor exposed around the edges of the bathroom (usually hidden by baseboards.) We took turns getting in the shower, the water was not hot at all. Pretty disappointing since we were looking forward to a nice hot shower after running in from a literal blizzard. The sliding glass door would not stay shut, it rolled open on its own, probably due to not being level. The bathroom door also needed to be forced shut in order for the latch to catch the plate. About 6 am, one of our neighbors decided it was time to play... basketball??? in their room. I couldn't isolate which room the noise was coming from, otherwise i would've had some things to say to the occupants. The basketball issue was obviously on the guest, not on the hotel. However, i would've expected a newly renovated hotel to invest at least a little bit on sound proofing. When we checked out, the unfriendly front desk staff said the hot water heater is broken, and left it at that

Me and my 2 friends went for an overnight getaway and stayed here due to good ratings. However, we went to the indoor pool where there were a couple other people. We noticed a few people come and approach the door, saw us and walked away. A couple minutes later the receptionist comes in and told us to we had to leave because we had our breasts out - we were too stunned to speak. We have reputable careers and would never do that…the only other difference was that the 3 of us were all of different ethnicities and it felt like we were racially profiled. When one of my friends said outloud while walking how crazy it was for them to falsely accuse us and it’d be sad if we get an attorney involved, the lady tells us “it’s nothing like that” and starts to freak out. My other complaint is there was no water bottles in the room and when I went downstairs to see if there’s a vending machine they said it’s not working and they only had 2 water bottles to give left…those are essentials!!! What kind of hotel doesn’t supply essentials, especially WATER?? Won’t be staying here again. Not worth the headache and disrespect.

Stayed here before and always like the property. Love the rustic decor in the lobby but not a fan of the newly remodeled modern decor in the room. Especially didn’t like that the only two chairs in the room weren’t very comfortable to try and relax and watch tv in.

Very nice, newly renovated 2nd & 3rd floor rooms. 1st floor rooms and buffet area will undergo renovations this fall 2023. Super comfortable bed. I liked the minimalist decor of our king room. Awesome shower. Will definitely stay again!
