Weekend getaway to Galloway and Dumfries
Enjoyed the weekend at Wauchope Cottage. Perfect location to explore the coast and Galloway forest area of SW Scotland. House is super clean and much more room than we expected. The grounds are gorgeous and we loved walking around. It would be nice if there was an opportunity to visit the castle to see the inside. This is a fairly remote property, so be prepared to drive to anything you need. But so quiet and peaceful.

New year break
The cottage more than lived up to our expectations. Our party was two people short so we had even more room. The setting was fantastic We all love walking so we chose an ideal place. We didn’t need to contact anyone as it all ran smoothly. Thanks and we’ll definitely be back soon xx

Great get away location.
A really tremendous location with a 200 acre estate to explore. Super walks without ever leaving the estate. Short drive to the beach, approx 10 min drive to small local supermarket or about 25 min drive to larger stores in Ayr.
