Short break at Robin Hood Tower
Beautiful location with walks from the door. A lovely peaceful, comfortable cottage overlooking the canal, with a waterfall at the side of the property. The hosts were excellant, helpful and knowledgeable about the area.

A blissful escape
Situated right by the Cromford canal this one bedroom holiday let was the perfect escape. Set in woodland a few yards from the canal it is a 3 storey converted tower. The conversion is really well thought out for a comfortable stay. A short walk along the canal gets you to The Family Tree Café where breakfast is delicious and they also serve lunch, cakes and afternoon teas. We sat out in a beautiful courtyard.

A real gem
An excellent and sympathetic renovation of an old 3-storey tower. The location is fantastic with a cascading stream to one side and a canal at the bottom of the garden. The owners generously allowed us to use their attractive garden with bench next to the canal. There are walks alongside the canal through the woods. The owners were very friendly and helpful with suggestions for walks and outings, etc. Inside the property there is everything you need. Although each floor is small, it is well appointed with comfy sofa and bed and a fully fitted kitchen. Yes, the access from the road is steep and winding but our estate car managed it so it's not too bad. All in all an excellent relaxing break in a quirky but lovely property.

Lovely quiet stay in the heart of Derbyshire
My wife and I enjoyed a well earned break at this lovely quaint, fully furnished 3 floored mini house. Situated by a babbling brook in a quiet woodland area overlooking Cromford canal. The proprietors were a lovely welcoming couple offering their knowledge on the location and history of the area. Everything functional and available. Will definitely return James
