Love the location, staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the area and helpful in all areas. Room is clean and in good order (only complaint is loud toilet noise when flushing not a big deal though).

Room was a little dirty. Trash on the side of the nightstand paper on tye floor of the bathroom. Front desk guy was super friendly and nice!

Value Host is comfortable, clean and budget friendly. Even our single queen room had a fridge, microwave, flat screen tv and a table and chairs. Everything you need at an affordable price!

it was very comfortable but i was disappointed that I did not have a mini fridge. i never did ask about it but i thought it was advertised as having one. I just had a single bed so maybe that size didn't have them. i wasn't in my room much so it really didn't matter a whole lot but just would have been nice to keep bottled waters in or leftovers. otherwise it worked out really well for my needs.

Here's the good.... The Night Clerk Ian was exceptional! He was extremely friendly and chatted with us about where we from and our plans in the area. He was made for Hospitality. Now here's the not so good. We did not have a fridge in our room even though the booking said we would. We only had 1 large bath towel for two people. My husband had to go hunt someone down for another towl while I was showering. Other than those 2 big complaints, it was ok. We did not spend much time in the room.its a good thing too. The tv is very small. If you're coming here on a super tight budget, then it would be fine. Thank ypu8

I like that it was Americans running an American business. It is a clean affordable hotel. The staff is friendly and parking is easily accessible.

The hotel was quiet and comfortable. The rooms were clean. The staff were friendly. The heating system is a little outdated making it hard to control the heat.

Value host motor inn is a nice, basic, cheap, no frills place to stay when visiting marquette.

Pet friendly hotel: smelled like wet dirty dog when checked in and walking down hall to my room. Staff was unfriendly and paid more attention to the Three dogs in the lobby that waiting on me. Shower did not work. Had to wash in the sink. Tried to call front desk no one answered. . Quality of hotel has declined drastically over the years. Will not be back .

Very comfortable, clean, spacious room - everything was good and worked. Easy access for travelers. Basic breakfast was good, eating area clean, coffee good,opened early.

The hotel was quiet. The employees were nice. It was all we needed. The toilet needed some work. Needed to hold the handle down for a few seconds to completely flush.

We were a group of 5 but could not find two-bed rooms while booking. When I asked for two-bed rooms during checking-in, the receptionist gave us an upgraded room without no extra charge. It would have been nicer if they provided a fridge in every room rather than a microwave. We may share a microwave in the common area and a fridge is more useful during trips in general. Luckily, the one upgraded room had a fridge, so we could put our stuff in it.
