Wonderful house in a perfect location.
We have just had a wonderful stay in this gorgeous house. Beautifully decorated, very clean and very well equipped. The sea views were amazing and it was an easy walk into Margate. We are a family ages ranging from 17 to 83 and everyone loved it. The swimming pool and sauna were a great bonus. I would totally recommend this house to anyone. Thank you Alan and Bill.

Fantastic house
Our second stay at the house, and we enjoyed it just as much the second time round! Brilliant location, with great walks in all directions. And an equally brilliant location for staying in and looking out onto the water when the weather is less amenable! Everything in the house has been put together with such love and care. And - unlike many properties - there were plentiful supplies of everything, so you didn't find yourself buying dishwasher tablets or bin bags after the 2nd day of your stay! Communication from Bill and Alan was very prompt and responsive, and they could not have been more welcoming. We are definitely looking forward to returning again!

We had a wonderful long weekend at this amazing property. The hosts, Alan and Bill, were so good, their communication before going and during our stay was perfect and answered any questions we had. The property was immaculate and had absolutely everything we required. The location was lovely and would highly recommend the property to anyone. We would love to go back one day!

Cliftonville Gem
Alan and Bill have managed to present a property that is practical for families and relaxing for adults. The location is wonderful, close to quiet beaches and vibrant downtown Margate. There is also nothing quite like sitting and watching the water from the wonderful reception room, whilst nursing a glass of wine in the evenings! A repeater for sure.

This house is more than just a holiday home, Alan and Bill have thought of and catered for absolutely everything! Large, spacious, amazing decor, stunning views, clean, well maintained and of course - the pool!! Easy access to Margate, Ramsgate, Deal and Whitstable - perfect location! Will definitely return

Spectacular stay with family in Palm Bay
The property is amazing inside and outside. Plenty of places to go although we spent a lot of time by the pool and in the snug. The hosts were quick to respond and very helpful. My bed was very comfortable and the view from the balcony is just wonderful. Who needs to go abroad :)

Deco Villa
My family and I enjoyed our stay. The property was spacious, well decorated and provided everything we needed for our stay and much more. It was in a good location metres from the beach and within walking distance of the high street. The kids and adults enjoyed the games cupboard which kept us entertained in the evenings. Would highly recommend to families as a place to stay.

Weekend with friends
Spent a lovely weekend at the house with a group of girl friends which is a fantastic position overlooking the sea. Perfect for long coastal walks. We didn’t leave the house much as too busy chatting and catching up. If the weathers good it has a beautiful garden with pool to use. Definitely recommend.

Magnificent Margate weekender!
From the very moment we booked communication was brilliant. Alan and Bill very kindly offered an early check in on the Friday/ late check out Sunday which we all really appreciated and made the most of our annual sibling get together. The house is gorgeous - views from the front of the sea and it's just across the road from a lovely sandy beach which our son loved! The house is decorated throughout in art deco style and it was very impressive and beautifully done. There's so much space to use, we loved the big dining table for our meals and games night. The bedrooms are all spacious and it was all very clean throughout. Even though it was pretty blustery my nutty family used the pool (it was heated luckily!) and everyone loved the sauna. There's loads of kitchen bits and it's close to a big Tesco/ Aldi. You can also walk into town along the front where you'll find a play park/ Dreamland and some cafes. The beaches really are beautiful and I would highly recommend coming to stay for the weekend, you won't regret booking! Thank you Alan and Bill for your hospitality and generosity, it was really appreciated.

NEW YEARS EVE GET AWAY
The house is amazing and everything there you could need. Our only criticism would be that maybe 'The Wet Room' could just have a normal shower in and another toilet, as only one on 2nd floor for possibly 6 people & maybe a mini sink put into existing toilet. However overall, it was a fabulous house to stay in for NYE and decor gorgeous. Thank you

What a delightful find. This property is beautifully curated, like a love letter to Art Deco, and has everything you will need for a comfortable stay. Including warm pool, great views and plenty of parking. A great base for exploring Margate and Broadstairs... although you may not want to leave the house!

Family Celebration
Our group consisted of 3 generations of our family and the property was absolutely perfect for us all. The facilities and the location were ideal for our needs. It meant we had a memorable celebration of a 70th. birthday in beautiful surroundings. The hosts couldn't do enough for us and were on hand whenever we wanted anything. They really were attentive to every detail.

Fantastic stay
What a fantastic house! We had a great week at Alan and Bill's. The house is in a great location just outside Margate, a few minutes walk to a small quiet beach with a couple of cafés close by, with nice walks along the coast towards either Margate or Botany Bay. We were a family of 3 generations ranging from the age of 4 into our 70s and the house had everything we needed. The pool really made the holiday and kept the kids entertained for hours. Alan and Bill were great hosts and at the end of a phone should we need anything. We would highly recommend staying here and will hopefully be back.

Family reunion
I was looking for the perfect place to hold a family reunion and I found it. We spent the days in the garden and the evenings in the house. The house is very well stocked from cups and glasses to towels and blankets (for chilly evenings). The garden was gorgeous. The pool was warm and there were lots of pool toys. The dining table seats 10 … perfect for card games. It had a living area on each end of it so even if we had groups hanging out in different rooms, we were still altogether. The house is across the road from the beach with great views. Ample parking (driveway, in front of the house and on the other side of the street). It was a £6 cab ride from the train station and £4 to Tesco (also walkable about a mile away).

Fantastic family gathering
This beautiful home was perfect for our family of 10 plus three grandchildren. The rooms are spacious, homely and beautifully furnished. The kitchen was well stocked, including two ovens making cooking for a large family very easy. We made good use of the heated pool and relaxed in the sauna. The garden is beautiful with some hidden treasures. We fully recommend this gorgeous house. Alan and Bill we’re fantastic hosts so we’re hoping to make this an annual event

Amazing 5 night stay
We stayed at the property as a family of 10 for 5 nights to celebrate to mums 70th birthday. We had the most fabulous time, there wasn’t anything that hadn’t been catered for. The kids had the best time using the pool while the adults enjoyed the lovely outdoor space. The location is perfect for exploring all the area has to offer. Alan & Bill were perfect hosts and nothing was too much trouble, we will definitely return again.

Will be back for better weather
A great house with plenty of space. Garden and pool is the big draw but weather wasn’t in our side. Will be Alan even better place when the sun shines. Hosts were very responsive and have tried to think of everything to make the house user friendly but with style.

Exceptional customer care from Alan.
Alan's response to all our questions was exceptional nothing too much trouble. The accommodation is spacious, very clean and the additional touch of the most beautifully decorated Xmas tree in the entrance hall made us feel very welcome and a big hit with our grandchildren. The only drawback for us, was the size of the beds, not large enough for a couple and a little uncomfortable.

Beautiful house, perfect seaside location, wonderful hosts
Alan and Bill are friendly, welcoming hosts, and the house is immaculate with a lovely atmosphere. We loved the art deco interior and beautiful sea views. We stayed here for a few days with my parents and 9 month old son, and there was something for everyone. The house is opposite the beach and a short walk away from the sea pool. We also walked down along the sea front to Margate town and the Turner. Highly recommended, we would definitely visit again.

We chose this property based purely on the facilities and size. We got so much more than we could ever have hoped. Great hosts - they have thought of everything.
