The property was clean even though the building is an older one, the staff was friendly and hard working. The hotel was very accommodating.

Friendliest staff ever! Well run hotel where the owners and employees truly desire to please their guests. The rooms are a bit old style but the staff more than made up for that. It was very clean. I would stay again and highly recommend this hotel!

My room was very spacious and comfortable. The hotel is very clean and quiet. The property is conveniently located near a shopping center that also has close by dining at a variety of different places. Everything I needed was close by so I did not have to travel far. I definitely recommend this place if you’re ever in the Covington or Mandeville area. Joanna was a sweetheart!

The room was clean & equipped with all you would need. Close to highway, so the first night we heard the trucks and traffic. Also the fridge was making a sound. Coffee was good and breakfast was the usual with variety.

Worst experience ever in 40 years of business and personal travel and would give them negative stars if it was an option. Check in process took much longer than it should have and included 3 separate trips to the room before we were able to enter and included keys to the wrong room where we unfortunately walked in on another guest. Overall things seemed dirty and when we finally entered our room there was a dead cockroach in the middle of the floor. Within 2 minutes we saw multiple roaches scurrying around...who knows how many more were in the room. We promptly decided to make other arrangements. Poor service, dirty and our room was full of roaches was bad enough but then even with help from Expedia, the hotel is standing firm on their no refund policy and doesn't allow for any exceptions. We will never stay at a Comfort Suites again.

When we arrived the front desk staff was very welcoming and was actively cleaning. There were two lights out in the entrance making the property very dark. Our room was on the small side but was big enough for the three of us. The room and bathroom were clean but the vanity and door showed significant water damage. The bathroom door would close but not latch. The mattress showed signs of wear and dipped toward the middle. The bed frame (platform) creaked and groaned with every movement. Still not sure what the thunderous noises were at 3-5 in the morning. Breakfast was the normal fare. Coffee was hot. The attendant was either on FaceTime or her phone at a very high volume. Overall the hotel was worth what we paid for it but it was not my favorite.

Looks nice but….
The staff was wonderful, very welcoming. The room looked clean but we found dorito wrappers and sugar wrappers behind the nightstand along with roaches crawling on the outside of our door to the room. The floor was sticky as well. The hotel looks great overall, but the rooms need more attention. Our room didn’t even look like it had been cleaned and it was super late and we were tired so slept a little bit and left super early.

Everything was great in the hotel building. The spaces in the parking lot are small, so it was challenging to open the doors wide enough to get out of the car if parked next to another vehicle.

Desk staff is a nightmare. They called and woke me and my family up to let us know that they needed my credit card on file for incidental charges. All because the same staff member who woke us up did not swipe the card correctly at check-in.
