An overnight stay as part of a 7-day trip, the hotel was right on the marina, it was blowing a gale and the clanking of the wires from the sail boats made a lot of noise, once the window was closed, this noise was gone, so great soundproofing. The onsite restaurant served freshly cooked food, that tasted fantastic. Breakfast was also nicely laid out.

Great stay
We really enjoyed our stay at the Ibis in Granville. It was clean and the staff were very helpful. It has a good bar and while we didn't eat there the menu looked good! We walked out to a superb restaurant on the quayside so thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was excellent - all self service. Fresh and varied.

Good hotel, convenient to Granville centre
Nice hotel for short stay, Granville very busy during our stay. Car parking difficult finding a parking place, but hotel convenient for shopping.

Booked an accessable room but on arrival that was not was allocated luckily they had one room vacant unfortunately it was opposite one of the metal gates to the marina which was used very frequently and clanged loudly every time it was used, most of the staff would benifit greatly from some customer relation training food in breakfast area (cheeses, meats etc) not covered so flies were having a field day, also dogs allowed in, the furniture in the bar area is in need of attention seats split from front to back

Bed Bug Bite issues
Cons: we all had bed bug bites (our room: #08 and our family at 207 and 209) diring our stay from Sept 1 to Sept 3, 2016. It turned to reaction allergies and infections. Ibis Port-de-Plaisance urgently need total desinfect operation.

Overloking the port
This hotel is in a pleasant position over looking the yacht harbour.The rooms are typically Ibis there was a god shower and an excellent well priced restaurant.Taking an early morning reakfast on the terrace overlooking the yachts was a delight.Staff were helpful and obliging.It is worth noting that the car parking is public and at busy periods you may struggle to find a spot as the foot ferries to the Channel Islands leave from nearby.

Very good overnight stay
We have stayed here a few times when driving from Brittany to Normandy and vice versa. The rooms are very standard Ibis Hotel rooms but good value for the price.

Great location for the harbour
We used the hotel for a single night whilst passing through Granville. It's in a very central location by the marina with a couple of perfectly reasonable restaurants very close by. It's an ibis so don't expect much but it was comfortable and the staff were very helpful. Would certainly use that hotel again. We walked everywhere but there was parking available too.

GREAT LOCATION
Situated by the ferry terminal (regular services to the Channel Islands) and facing Granville Marina - every room has a small balcony. Excellent Breakfast selection - great bar (slightly slack service here) and reasonable restaurant. Literally 100s of other restaurants within walking distance - a bit of a hike to the shops but who cares? Bar and restaurant very reasonably priced - recommended!

Hotel Ibis at Granville France
Hotel rather difficult to locate by vehicle. Told we were upgraded from standard room to family room, however found the room to be very small and inhospitable. We were very disappointed. Bar and restaurant attached to the hotel was quite good. Only stayed one night and pleased we had not booked for any longer.

Location great for marina and town
We came over from Jersey on our boat. The hotel is just as you come out of Marina so perfect. Room was great - we had a seaview even though we didn't bok one - so thank you Ibis for the courtesy of an upgrade when the room is available - much appreciated. Would definitely return. We decided against breakfast as he coffee was from an instant do it yourself machine and the buffet was virtually empty. So we just walked along and found somewhere that did decent coffee. Overall though a very good hotel at a reasonable rate and with a lovely terrace overlooking marina and sea. Did not eat in restaurant but what we saw looked good.

The only place to stay
The hotel is in the best positionj overlooking the harbour. You can walk around the harbour and to the shops. It is quiet and though the breakfast is not cheap at 9 euros we always opted for it. The bed and room are clean and comfortable and modern . We had a problem with a drunken loud sleeper who screamed in his sleep on our third night and we were given another room immediatly and then offered an upgrade for the following night at no extra charge. This is the only place to stay in Granville and we are coming back !

As close to the port as can be
I was with a group of colleagues having to do business in the yacht port. For this, the hotel is very conveniently located, literally only a few meters from the piers. There are a few decent seafood restaurants in the immediate surroundings. Hotel staff were very friendly and the room was impeccably clean. While most of the room equipment appeared new, including a flat screen TV with most channels, one thing made it appear a bit run down: the ends of the curtain (in my room) had been torn from the rings. You would think this is obvious and easy to repair. Overall its no big deal though, I had a very nice stay.

Ibis Granville
Very ordinary hotel but in good location which is reflected in the price. No kettle in the room and Ibis class means small room with bare essentials including thin towels.

Ibis Granville - good stop off near Mont St Michel
Only criticism was my husband being bitten quite badly by bed bugs on our first night. We caught two of them and took them to reception. Were given keys to another room straight away and spent the second night in a room which wasn't infested! Hotel was in a good location. Not too long a drive from London. Great stop off for a day trip to Mont St Michel. Nearby restaurants were excellent and local sought seafood was lovely!

A very nice place to relax with a drink in the bar or on the terrace overlooking the Marina. Breakfast was good. The rooms are functional rather than elegant. The room we had would be good value for a family as it had a double and 2 single beds.

The hotel is very close to the centre of Granville. There are numerous restaurants within walking distance of the hotel with prices to suit all pockets. The hotel restaurant is well worth a visit if you are staying for a special occasion. The marina is very picturesque but parking was a bit of a problem on our arrival. However we were able to move our cars later in the evening when the locals had vacated spaces.
