The hotel is old furnishd, the carpets in the rooms (we had 3) were dirty and very old. In the 2 rooms the water pipe did not work good.

Excellent hotel with great staff
Check-in and check-out were fast. Reception staff are always helpful and willing to consider your extra requests and help you in any way they can. Definitely will recommend this hotel for any friend visiting Manama.

The overall experience was amazing. Location was centrally positioned. Immediately greeted with warm hospitality from the staff. The room was big and it was comfortable. They were fast with request.

Good clean rooms, good service
Really good stay. Room big enough, always clean, good service in general. This hotel is underrated because it is actually pretty good value for the money. Only downside was limited TV channels with just 2 English and sports channels.

Nice hotel
A nice hotel close to restaurants, shops and the Hard Rock Café. It also has a bar down stairs with limited choose of beers.

Fine overall experience
the receptionist asked me a couple of questions indicated that he does not know how expedia online booking work, after he looked like facing difficulties to find my reservation he asked me whether I already checked in online or not !! then he said "" why did you choose a twin room while you are single?!"". He also made me wait for about 10 minutes to finish the pray without having a temporary substitute !!

My Experience at Monroe Hotel MANAMA, Bahrain
My stay was good...certain staff members were excellent...my observations are: treat people with Dignity and Respect and they will treat you likewise. In some instances certain staff went out of their way to help with issues, in particular the Manager and the restaurant staff...they we excellent. The morning breakfast was outstanding...I found myself frustrated when I woke up late past the breakfast deadline. The Chef would always inquire as to how I like his preparations. I was on the 12th. Floor. The music on the first floor could be a problem for units close by. Door staff...excellent. Price was outstanding. Overall 3-4 stars. Arthur M. R

I experience my worst nightmare because of many tiny bugs on the hotel's bed sheet. The hotel staff immediately quarantine the room and they transferred us to the upper room. But its too late already because we slept already and woke-up with rushes so we informed immediately to the staff and they took an action. Hopefully, the management will be aware on proper housekeeping.

The hotel is located in a good place , Mr. Waqar at reception was very helpful and nice to talk to. There is room of improvement in services and facilities in room and out of room. clubs and everything else is expensive other then the daily room rent. Guest friendly hotel.

A Brief Stay / I'll Come Back and Try it Again
I stayed one night in August 2017. I'm a frequent visitor to Manama, Bahrain. I usually stay in a hotel in the Adliya neighborhood. I was bored with that hotel and booked here following the recommendation of a friend. I liked it overall. The lobby is sparkling clean, lots of marble, glass, and well-polished brass.. The elevators are roomy, clean, and well-maintained. My room was a surprise. It was really big (nice!), the bed was big and comfortable, too; though the windows hadn't been cleaned in a long time, and the hotel itself is gettin' kinda long-in-the-tooth so to speak and so the carpet in my room was probably clean but otherwise stained, cigarette-burned, and just generally worn-out. Good points though - the reception staff was professional, helpful, friendly, competent, and courteous. I liked that. There is a restaurant (I didn't try it), a (sadly, super-smoky) sports bar (I walked in and walked out), and a nightclub on the premises. I didn't care much for the neighborhood (al Hoora). I'm much more familiar with Adliya (so, maybe, I'm biased).There was easy parking in an adjacent vacant lot - and parking can be a problem elsewhere in the city.

Good hotel for business travel.
Overall stay was good. Beds were having spring mattress which was little uncomfortable as you can feel the springs once you sleep over it. Once can find lot of options for food nearby along with various shops. Location of the hotel is quite near to Bahrain Financial Harbour.

Good staff. Good room and housekeeping however no complete toiletries e.g.toothbrush or toothpaste. No bathrobes. Breakfast is the same daily with no variations. Please include noodles...pancake or waffles...beef sausage or bacon...hot choco.
