I stayed one night in August 2017. I'm a frequent visitor to Manama, Bahrain. I usually stay in a hotel in the Adliya neighborhood. I was bored with that hotel and booked here following the recommendation of a friend. I liked it overall. The lobby is sparkling clean, lots of marble, glass, and well-polished brass.. The elevators are roomy, clean, and well-maintained. My room was a surprise. It was really big (nice!), the bed was big and comfortable, too; though the windows hadn't been cleaned in a long time, and the hotel itself is gettin' kinda long-in-the-tooth so to speak and so the carpet in my room was probably clean but otherwise stained, cigarette-burned, and just generally worn-out. Good points though - the reception staff was professional, helpful, friendly, competent, and courteous. I liked that. There is a restaurant (I didn't try it), a (sadly, super-smoky) sports bar (I walked in and walked out), and a nightclub on the premises. I didn't care much for the neighborhood (al Hoora). I'm much more familiar with Adliya (so, maybe, I'm biased). There was easy parking in an adjacent vacant lot - and parking can be a problem elsewhere in the city.
