“best hotel in st pauls bay area by far”
cant fault this hotel , good food ,rooms ,comfort, staff infact everything was really good and this is the only hotel i would use if going back to malta
“Very Impressed”
Lovely Hotel, staff very helpful
“october break”
We had a large room with a sea veiw. Breakfast was self service with a wide choice of foods. Lovely fresh fruit, dried fruits and yoghurts. Resturant joined to hotel called Boneparts was very good value with 10% off cost if you are staying in the hotel, although we sampled the hotel's 3 course evening meal which again had a wide choice of food but in comparision with other resturants available a little pricey. If plannng to go incliusive probably very good value. We hired a car to explore the island it was a little tricky getting back to the hotel but ample parking in the roads around hotel.
“would go back in warmer months”
one of the better hotels we have stayed in and good central area especially for bus station
“Satisfactory”
We had a twin room with views of the pool and sea. The room was reasonably spacious even with the couch being used as a third bed for our granddaughter and the standard of cleanlines was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. We were surprised to find that wi-fi connection was not available in the room and was available only in the hotel lobby at an extra cost. Very inconvenient and not what we expect from a 4 star hotel. The only other drawback was the lack of tea/coffee making equipment although a kettle could be hired. Again, not really a 4 star service. In spite of those two reservations we enjoyed our stay at the hotel and would recommend it - especially as some refurbishment is taking place.
“Definitely some merit but perhaps not four star”
We had two nights here on a cheapish deal and found our stay quite relaxing but the scene was set for us a little when we asked the concierge if he was giving us nice rooms. He said (roughly) "they are what you paid for"; which seemed to us a bit of a strange thing to say given that we had received a deal at much less than the going rate. This hotel seems quite popular with families - the pool is quite nice so you can spend all your time there if you like. We had a ground floor room with a balcony area which we expected to be noisy but was actually very quiet and we slept well (although it was a twin not the double we asked for). The area around the hotel seems quite seedy to me. The nearby beach area does not seem appealing. Also, I think their idea of a private beach is quite laughable. Breakfast is a bit of a bun fight with so many guests and I found the hot food very oily. Having said all this, we enjoyed our stay and would probably go back if we were desperate for nothing but lying by the pool or using the facilities.

Bugibba has a small square, shops, bars, budget restaurants, nightclubs and a small harbour from which several pleasure boat excursions run. Swimming and water sports take place off the promenade and at lidos. Activities in Qawra tend to be hotel-based.
