The property is adorable. The staff is absolutely amazing and beyond helpful. Emma in the restaurant is an absolute sweetheart. This hotel/restaurant will go above and beyond for your needs. Rooms are clean and beds are comfy. I wish we would have stayed there longer.

We have stayed here several times. It's such a lovely place to go. The connecting pub is fantastic, and the food is delicious.

This is a brilliant space to stay with kids. Breakfast is a treat, and their restaurant is lovely for a special evening meal in a rustic setting. Cosy and clean rooms too. We were delighted

Was here at a 60th Food was lovely at the function & breakfast was just as nice. Lovely room & have to say all the staff we spoke with so nice, professional and went above & beyond for sure. Highly recommended

We have stayed her before, it's welcoming and a good breakfast, it can be busy for evening meals. Quite convenient for a visit into Chester too. I think the bedding needs looking into regarding buying new sheets and pillows.

Booked the deluxe double room which stated there would be a king size bed. Arrived to find it was two twin sized beds pushed together. Hotel was fully booked so no chance of a room change. Very uncomfortable, barely got any sleep. Rooms are also adjoined and not very quiet, you can hear everything going on outside.

One major problem "Door"! You easily get disturb anytime of the day when some one coming in or going out. When people come for holiday, they don't want a early 6am wake up because of the stupid type of lock the door has. The room is nice but please keep up with maintenance, especially the bathroom. Unfortunately mould is stubborn but sort it out.

Lovely little weekend stay
Bed was unfortunately too soft. Each has own preference i suppose. Used face pad left in bin and nowhere to hang a wet coats. Walls a little thin as we could hear adjoining neighbours clearly. Room was a generous size. Fab deco. Facilities were great and the staff were exceptional and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Food drinks and breakfast all amazing. Free carpark too, which is always a bonus

We stayed here when the Balloon festival was on the Staff are excellent friendly and helpfull i had the full englisch and my wifechad the scrambled egg and smoked samon they were both delishes ,we had dinner with our friends on Saturday night and again delicious i will be back highly recommend this lovely place thank you for making our stay great.

The venue was ideal for the overnight stay we had planned, parking was easy and the room was bright and clean with good supplies of tea and coffee. The bar area and restaurant were good and the staff were friendly and helpful. At breakfast the food was excellent, freshly cooked and there was good knowledge of Gluten free requirements. Again the service was excellent. Overall it was a nice experience.

Couldn't fault any part of our stay
Room was clean, comfortable and spacious with lovely views across Cheshire & North Wales. Food was awesome, and the staff were polite, friendly and very helpful. Lovely country pub with olde worlde feel in restaurant and boutique style bar area. Will use again in the future.

Two friends staying together for a trip to the spa which is just around the corner. Beautiful, rustic, snug and cosy feel to the place. Room was excellent, had everything we needed. Good meal in the pub in the evening, nice wine. Good quality ingredients in the breakfast. Nice friendly service. Would definitely stay again and would recommend wholeheartedly.
