“Good value for a main Swedish city”

Although not centrally located, this hotel was on the bus route into the city and within walking distance of an eating-out district. The hotel did not have a lot of character, but it was clean and the staff, although busy, were polite and helpful. The room was big, modern and clean - and good value in an expensive country.

“Affordable, basic facilities and good service”

My husband and I travelled separately to the hotel. Neither of us had any difficulty checking in. The reception staff are friendly and helpful. They know a firm of taxi drivers who charge reasonable rates and can contact them on your behalf at departure. Our room was very cold which we had thought was standard but two others with us didn't have that issue so I wish I had mentioned it now. There was extra bedding which we used. The room was reasonably spacious and facilities, whilst minimal, were all we needed for our overnight stay before travelling on to another location. We didn't have breakfast but this seemed a resonable price and I believe it was for a cold breakfast. The location was quite far from the station. We had difficulty getting a bus due to late arrival. I would recommend this for a short stay rather than anything longer than a few days.
