Spa was out of commission. Rooms not quite as nice as the pictures suggest but still very nice. Staff very pleasant. Can be hard to find and GPS can misdirect so need to be careful about address or find one that works for the GPS.

It was fine for a short stay, but disappointing.
The hotel is meant to be 4 star but it was very tired and did not have a 4-star feel. In addition we had no wi-fi for the duration of our stay with no apology or refund or any recompense. Disappointing.

Very relaxing
Highly recommended. Huge peacefull trees are grest to enjoy breakfast under. The staff make alot of effort for english speaking guests. The rooms are spacious and clean. Being on a golf course its quiet but has good access to either Aix or Senas - which is also access to the expressway.

Impressive "platanes" alley
Perfect place for a one night stop-over. Impressive alley of centenary "platanes", pool area looked great,too, unfortunately no time to try out...

The part of the hotel that we were put in was dirty and had damage everywhere. The walls of the corridors had great chunks out of them and the carpets in the hallway and in our room were badly stained. Our room had a kitchenette which was so filthy it could not possibly be used. During our visit there was a day of rain and we then found out that one of our bedroom windows had a hole in the corner of the frame and water came running in. The plaster around the window and the skirting board below were stained and rotting and it turned out the hotel knew of these problems but still chose to place us in this room. The hotel was advertised as a spa hotel and therefore I expected to be able to us the basic facilities such as sauna and pool included in the price of our stay. This was not the case and they wanted 40 euros per couple to use even these basic facilities.

Great hotel with friendly staff
Friendly staff and a great restaurant! The rooms are all in a good condition, with a nice mix of soft drinks available in the fridge- but I'll request a room in the modern blocks next time, to get a shower rather than the bath in the old house. Stayed here many times now, and it's always been super smooth.

overall great with few little flaws
The hotel facilities were great. However it was advertised that each room has a bathtub and shower. Our room only had a shower and no bathtub. When we tried going to the spa we were asked to pay 20 Euro per person even though we only had an hour to use it. We were not advised about the spa charges upon check in. The breakfast was simple but had everything needed. There was no one by the outdoor pool with towels etc as advertised in the room. There is a free mini bar with water and soft drinks which is a really nice touch.

Very nice and quiet hotel
Welcome in this area multiple times a year for business, that's the first time we tried this hotel and it was the best we have done in this area. We will definitely come back. They even surprised us with a complimentary champagne bottle delivered in the room.

GORGEOUS SETTING, POOR SERVICE
The hotel is a beautiful historical building in a gorgeous setting. We had a lovely stay. HOWEVER, we were appalled by the sub-standard quality of the breakfast buffet and total lack of service at breakfast. The receptionist was further unable to give us proper directions to the hotel from a mere distance away. This should not happen to a hotel of such calibre. Finally, the noise from the road adjacent to the hotel is clearly audible from the pool and garden areas, making it less of an oasis.

Staff try really hard - interior designers set loose at the expense of functionality (e.g bathrooms look nice, but nowhere to put anything!). Good base for exploring the Luberon area.

Disappointing
This was disappointing really. We had earmarked it as one of our 'splurge' hotels but it just didn't measure up. The room was cold and the control of room temp was at reception! The restaurant was rather pretentious and we had nicer food in a bistro, paying half the price. The TV had one English-speaking channel and the volume didn't work on it and after reporting this, we were advised that it couldn't be fixed. It's a beautiful little estate/community but rather remote and there are surely better places to stay to experience Aix en Provence.

High quality country hotel
The hotel and its restaurant are excellent and I very much enjoyed my stay. Service was often slow but was of very high quality. The pool area offers a very good way to relax. It is in an interesting area and I would like to visit again with my own transport so as to explore the locality more. It is likely to be worth booking a spa session before you arrive since for me there was only one available time-slot over 4 days and that did not fit in with my external commitments.

Fine if you stay in main building (old part). Nicely refurbished recently. Pleasant pool but pool bar not finished. Annex not quite right ( unpleasant smell of drains). Service excellent. Restaurant very limited, only 2 menus, nothing else. Very expensive and minimalist. Very nice golf course conveniently located next to hotel, very hilly though. Good location for music festivals in the area.

Ce lieu est exceptionnel, avec un accueil chaleureux particulièrement de la part de la directrice, qui a gentiment accepté de nous changer de chambre afin que nous puissions bénéficier d'une baignoire. Le dîner au restaurant était délicieux, proposant des mets de qualité à travers une formule entrée, plat, et dessert à 50€, offrant un excellent rapport qualité-prix. En ce qui concerne la climatisation, un simple échange à l'accueil permet de passer du mode chauffage à la climatisation, assurant ainsi une nuit de sommeil agréable. Le Spa offre une expérience décevante. Il dispose d'un jacuzzi commun et d'un hammam limité à 4 personnes. Lors de ma visite, le sauna était indisponible en raison d'une maintenance. Les options de boissons se limitent à du café soluble et du thé disponibles dans le couloir. Un problème majeur réside dans les casiers qui ne ferment pas correctement. Le tarif est de 25€ par personne.Concernant la propreté et le confort, des traces de moisissure s'étendent des murs au plafond dans la douche du hammam. La salle de détente, peu accueillante pour les personnes sensibles au froid, est équipée de quelques bancs qui paraissent insuffisants et inappropriés pour un lieu censé offrir détente et relaxation.

Nous connaissions l'établissement c'est la raison de notre réservation, la télévision de fonctionnait pas et le robinet du lavabo était tout "branlant" pas du tout à l'image de cet établissement 4 étoiles, lors de notre arrivé le réceptionniste nous a prévenu de la panne et nous a proposé de nous offrir un petit déjeuné, ce qui n'a pas été fait ! petit déjeuné d'ailleurs toujours aussi bon, copieux et servit dans une salle typique et au charme certain
