First of all. The room was very spacious and thoughtfully allocated although I would suggest upgrading the television to a smart tv for an executive room such as this. That was the most comfortable bed I’ve slept on in a long time for my back and neck issues. I was however very disappointed with the roof top. Namely because there’s a lot of open unused space that could be utilized as green space with plants and small trees to really liven up the vibe. The pool is outdated. I feel like they are missing an opportunity for a shared recreation area up there. It’s also kind of annoying to not be able to take the elevator all the way there. The view from the roof is beautiful at night though.. granted I found it strange that they offer for sale lovely hotel branded ashtrays yet none of them are at the tables and chairs on the roof to add an element of synergistic class. The surrounded neighborhood has several run down buildings listed for sale. It’s curious to me that whoever owns the hotel hasn’t purchased and facelifted them.

Tired and old renovation, no frills place to sleep. The room safe was not working, but they replaced it within half an hour.

I went as a family with 4 children, so their room with 3 beds was very suitable. My kids were happy to jump around. The unit we got came with a big bathroom which also included a bathtub, which was another plus. The only thing that was abit unusual was that they asked for money when i asked to get a second key card, which I thought was strange. Next door of the hotel was a nice seafood restaurant. Reasonably priced and the food was very fresh

Lovely
Stayed in room 2515 (5th floor). Love my room. Definitely worth the price. Spacious bed, clean room and big toilet. Swimming pool is closed currently due to RMCO. Many parking available. Safe and easy. Will definitely come back again. Thank you

Check in process was very unpleasant. I have stand in line for nearly 1 hour before my turn. Overall, room cleanliness needs to be improved. Anyway, good night sleep/rest as the room was sound proof. Hardly hear anything from outside even though hotel is located next to busy road.

Worth the price paid
It was a good stay. The room and service is definitely worth the price paid. However, the actual room might not be as spacious and comfortable as the picture which might led to a higher expectation to the room.

hotel location not so convenient and near the jonker street: staff not warm and accomodating: room facilities is very good: carpet flooring is too old and makes the room not so clean: breakfast buffet is very bad.

Although it is a non-smoking but then the smell was bad .... My 2nd booked room air-con was not working good needed some maintenance ... And the tidying and preparation for the check in was late even we reached at 1625hrs although it should be ready at 1500hrs since the rules required us to do so..... In the night , there were some dripping sound but it is solved as i placed a towel to contain the drips.

bad service and breakfast
After a long journey, we arrived at the hotel where we had booked a room for 3. The staff asked us to pay cash for some tax and wouldn't accept credit card or wouldn't let us pay later. Since we had no cash on hands we were forced to go look for an ATM before even letting our bags. Very poor service. So our room was booked for 3 people as mentioned in the reservation and the room was advertised for up to 3, but we got only 2 towels and the staff wanted to make us pay for a third one. Same for the included breakfast, turns out it only included 2 breakfast and we had to pay for the third one. To note that the breakfast buffet is not nice for a 4 stars hotels, a bit of fried rice and noodles, porridge, eggs and bread. I would advise to eat elsewhere. Also beds are quite small, like 120cm which is not very wide for 2. Access to the hotel is not easy if you're on foot, there's no sidewalk and cars pass by quickly. The hotel is about 10min walk from the historical center and not far from a mall but the direct neighborhood is not nice.

The tap was in a bad condition as though it's fall easily, though still in working condition. Bathroom was dim with only 1 light at the entrance of the toilet. The USB port wasn't working The tv has all channels not working except for 1 Chinese channel. I booked for 3 pax but the toiletries and pillow was given catered to 2

This is the first time I am writing a bad complain. Room air cond noisy during the temp cut off and request for staff to rectify the problem. They attend the problem without checking the problem more than 1 min and told us that this is normal sound due to some air pressure from the out side.( This make me confuse what they guy is telling me ) Tech staff no experience. Secondly I request for an extra pillow cause they only provide free 3 pillow max and the rest there is a charges of RM2 for 1 pillow per night. Third Reception staff name Mr Ng attitude is bad during my check out time where he refund me the deposit like using his own money to make the refund type. I rented 3 rooms for 2 nights and did not get a good sleeping experience overall. Feel very disappointing with this hotel !!!!!!!! Bad reception Mr Ng attitude. ( I guess he did not get a bonus for 2019 and he make a revenge to all the hotel customers )

I checked in about 5pm. At time 9.30pm, the aircond temperature at 28 deg C !! Then i asked for help, the technician told me that there was a leaking and they have fixed it by topping up the gas. I asked the 2 technicians were they sure it will last long by topping up the aircond gas ? They told me not to worry. Unfortunately, at mid night 3am, the aircond turned up to 27 deg C. I called the desk, the staff came and told me that indeed this room got aircondition problem ! And he willing to change the room for me at mid-night 3.30am !! I asked the staff why you set me up at this room at the first place when you knew it has aircondition problem ? And you have others empty perfect room that you not give to me ?? And now, at mid-night 3.30am you you want me to move ?? I have no choice to get all my family members to pack and unpack to move to another room, that also after one hour of hard talk with the staff and off duty manager-Mr. Tan. The worse was Mr.Tan told me that there is no on duty or standby night shift technician or any facility technician around to help !! They have total 4 hotels in the town but with zero night shift facility technician !! In case there is any electrical short-circuit safety issues, no one able to help !! It is a real safety issues !!

Whole Hotel itself needs refurbish. Weird smell (insect's repellent) at reception and lift lobby. Room flooring carpet is old enough to be replaced but at least better than the carpet along the corridor, just like walking on dry mud.

Hotel was a little run down. Room had a musky smell when we first checked in. Tv channels are limited. Bfast is just the standard for the price that we paid. Don't expect too much.
