"We returned here having stayed a couple of years ago. The location is stunning in the wilderness but very convenient for Betws y Coed. The suites are very comfortable, spacious and clean. Mike and Carrie are very kind, generous hosts who like to make you feel at home. "

"This is a lovely place to stay. We were well looked after, my gluten free dietary needs were catered for and the staff were very accommodating. The house is old so we expected that the rooms might be ‘quirky’ but we had a dangerous fault with our shower that could have resulted in serious scalding incident. We have informed the managers so they can deal with it. Dinner was 5* as you’d expect in a place with a chef of this calibre - wine and port also excellent. Pricey, but not excessive....

"We travelled with our adult son to hike in the nearby Eryri National Park. The owner greeted us upon arrival and very thoughtfully upgraded our rooms! Lola, the dog, was so friendly and extremely well behaved. The place is beautifully and freshly decorated. The two bedrooms we saw were unique, comfortable and well equipped. "The cottage is fab and has everything you need for an amazing holiday. Just follow the instructions supplied and you will get there. The drive from the main gate to the cottage might seem daunting, but as long as you go slow... you can easily make it! The cottage is great, but not for the fait of heart. For the ones like me that are more physically challenged the hill/incline to go in and out was tough, but worth it to be in the middle of nowhere. The fire log is your 'lifeline' to warmth and...
