the room was moldy- the bed was almost on the floor- there was no microwave- there were no electrical outlets- had to unplug the refrigerator to plug in the coffee pot-the vent in the bathroom blew heat and the shower temp would not stabilize- add in the price was highly inflated over what the Knights Inn is now advertising- there was no maid service while we were out

Room was too small. My boyfriend had a hard time using the shower or the toilet. We had a hard time not tripping over each other. Our door didn’t lock, so we put the table in front of it. I went to the front desk twice and rang the bell and nobody showed up. Breakfast in the “office”, is a joke. Take some of the rooms away and upgrade, and fix the stairs, they’re treacherous.

Small bathroom, no WiFi
The room was clean and presentable. The A/C worked great and the beds were comfortable. Fridge and microwave worked fine. We arrived late and they had a way of accommodating that. The next morning I mentioned that the WiFi wasn't showing up and the manager said no one else had complained and would check in to it. I never had internet to connect to the whole time. (I am writing this review from the next cheap hotel that we went to and got on WiFi in about a minute, FYI) The bathroom was quite small with a freestanding sink without countertop. There were two trays in the room that we made shelves with, one of them fitting over the sink so that was helpful. The stopper on the sink didn't work. Three switches didn't work - bathroom fan and two lights. The outside of the buildings were nicely painted so the outside looked pretty good. I would say that if you need counter space in the bathroom, you would not sign up for this room. For them to have WiFi up on their marquee is a joke. The breakfast is continental in a very crowded area. It's clean so this is just a head's up if you are looking at a double queen room (118). Side note: I found out there is basically no public transportation (buses, taxi, Uber/Lyft) in Mackinaw City and the bridge is $4 each way.

I was nervous about this place but on the whole it was fine, served it’s purpose for us. We had one of the rooms where the beds are on different walls facing away from each other which was nice because I have 3 kiddos, one is younger and goes to bed earlier. On the whole it was a pleasant stay, the place is dated but was clean enough, it was great to have a microwave, and the beds were comfortable. Bring your own pillow if you want a real full size pillow.

Great location for bridge park. Small breakfast
Located perfectly for walking distance to the bridge. It's a typical "motel". Not much choice for breakfast. The staff was nice. Parking was easy and the location was very convenient.

Completely Adequate
We stayed here with two small children for one night. There is no pool but the lake is within walking distance and is fantastic. The room is in disrepair and in need of updating. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed so no complaints. The staff was friendly. The breakfast was muffins, bagels, yogurt etc. no hot food 'continental' as stated.

. We couldn't stop laughing at the bathroom and the worn out Outlets, everything you plugged in fell out .Nothing terrible, just amusing .hot water lasted maybe a minute or two,that was the only reall unfortunate issue . VERY CLEAN and comical. Parking is hilarious. Not a bad place if you dont expect much. Staff was great.

I booked thru Expedia for per ngt for 2 rooms 2nights king room..got emailed something wrong with my payment which there wasnt.. i already had a confirmation.. so i booked again because hotel said they didnt have my reservation.. and it cost nearly twice as much per ngt and serv fee for 2 queen rooms no Kings available ha ha. what a shaky business i got more complaints but wont have room to type toilet no micro difference in check out time and plugs dont use bathroom when your using hairdryer and nails sticking up out of decking and oh the continental breakfast what a joke i never saw anything like it small like yougurt type frig with a sign says cont breakfast very small coffee ups with no lids one room smoke alarm kept chirping.. they were painting outside no mention of wet paint.. crap thrown out on lawn.. tables chair garbage etc. horrible experience and oh ya after i checked into the queen rooms the hotel called my cell and wanted to know when i would check into the king rooms they said i didnt have.. all i can say is pretty sketchy business

Sorry you had this issue. The issue was on the expedia side and your 1st reservation did have an issue. Again, sorry you had this issue. We took care of it the best we could on our end.

I was checked into a room that someone else was in. Then the continental breakfast was really nothing at all and in a space of about 4 ft sq. They moving us out of our room when we went to breakfast in town. Work men had things all over the place

I would not recommend this Motel
Our rooms (two couples) were not ready after the suggested check-in time. the included breakfast was an unpleasant joke. There is no sit-down room for breakfast! The breakfast is "continental" a tray of small muffins and coffee.a toaster next to the check-in counter to make toast that you are supposed to take to your room to eat! Advertising "free breakfast" is definetely false advertising
