The staff was very nice and the hotel was situated right in the heart of town where restaurants, shops and an easy route to the train and bus stations that passed a lot of local stands selling items at great prices.

When my group and I checked in the desk personnel told us that breakfast would be ready for us at 5:00 a.m.. when we left at 5:10 a.m. there nobody at the front desk. No breakfast and no hot water.water was nobodianobody

Great value.
Location is good though almost anywhere is here. Very small village. Hotel has great bathrooms and very clean. Staff was very good too. Two problems - 1. the bed was extremely hard. 2 the sound echoes so when ppl started having breakfast at 5-5:30am you could hear the screeching of the chairs and talking. There is no sound buffer and it travels to third floor like they were right next to us.

Our stay was amazing from beginning to end. Bertha was wonderful, she picked us up from the train station, walked us to the hotel, and was helpful and so kind during our stay. Jenny was a great host as well. We felt like we were at home, from their welcoming attitude, to the delicious breakfast, to our friendly talks. Their warm attention and kindness made our stay unforgettable. The hotel premises were aso very clean and centrally located.

This property is almost next to hot spring and offers really good service. They picked us up at the train station and made all the effort to make us feel comfortable during our stay. The path to get to hotel is steep but offers beautiful view of the city.

The property is a little bit far from the the railway station, but there are numerous restaurants, tourism agents around. The room is small, but very clean, well organized. Service is good. Would recommend it

I was very pleased with the service and the customer service. The ladies went above and beyond to accommodate us. It was a lot of walking up and down inclines, some very steep, but they did not mind walking around with us. We needed to find a place to change currency using our card. Valerie walked with us asking others she met where we could find such a place, until we located an ATM machine, and this was some distance from the hotel. Everything is cash in Machu Picchu, so when booking your stay through one of these engines, it would be best to pay up front. The place is very clean and the service is excellent. I would stay there again.

Cute little hotel at the top of the hill
Viandina MachuPicchu is a cute hotel Only 15 rooms at the top of Pachacutes Ave. Everything you need for a one night stay.

Friendly staff. Rooms need a little sprucing up. Bed sheets look a bit gray. Nice size room. Fine for a short visit. Breakfast included, which was nice. It is located at the top of the street, so lots of climbing stairs. Restaurants near by. Water in the shower was not very hot.

The hotel was quite a walk with luggage from the train station. They did have a luggage storage which was nice. Breakfast was just ok...nothing great.

The location was good, it is close to the river . The hotel is clean the breakfast was good and the staff was very helpful. The only complain is regarding the wifi connection it is very poor and comes on and on which is inconvenient. In another review I read that it had also been an issue , I really thing that needs to be look at. Otherwise it’s a good place to be and there’s plenty of hot water for the shower.

Great hotel with very friendly staff and good breakfast. The view from our room is so nice and the location is near a lot of restaurants and shops. Wi-fi is actually pretty good, considering how remote the place is. I wish we stayed for more than 1 night.

Next to a cute little square. Easy checkin/out. The window in the bathroom wasnt one that you could latch, so we could hear noises from outside more easily, though it was still quiet for most of the night
