We spent one night here, arriving at 9pm and leaving at 5 am to catch the bus to Machupicchu. They provided a nice breakfast buffet at 4:30 am (scrambled eggs, meat, cheese, tea, coffee, bananas). Shampoo & soap are provided, and there was plenty of hot water (we had to wait for it - and it's out of the RH faucet, not the left!). We also requested someone meet us at the train station, and I was glad we had. I'm not sure we could have found the tucked away location on our own! Our guide also took us to the ticket office to buy our tickets for the next day - we made it just before they closed at 9pm. Our only caution - the windows in the hotel face inward (towards the interior/courtyard of the building), and we didn't realize they were open. We left our room for breakfast and left our gear (passports etc.) in the room! Someone could easily have gotten in. Luckily, that didn't happen. The staff did not speak English, but that really didn't make any difference to our check in procedure.
