The hotel staff was the best I have ever seen. They go out of their way to assist and to help. They provide all necessary information. Even though I was downstairs past the breakfast hours, they still accommodated me and made sure I had something to eat. They are very friendly and hospitable. While the hotel is only 3 stars, the staff is far better than any 5 star hotel in which I have ever stayed. Thank you Intiwatana El Tambo!!

Loud, no air conditioning, no wifi, bathroom disgusting(smelled of mold, shower no hot water, toilet running and chain kept coming off) dirty sheets, dirty pillows, blankets dirty floors, false advertisement overall nothing like the pictures while booking 4 or 5 star how!! You hear everything and all night people talking outside, soccer games noise, night club or bar noise. Just terrible its literally in the slums. Waste of money its better to stay in cusco to have good food, hotels etc. Place needs serious upgrade all the money we pay doesnt make sense might as well stay with the locals on the streets meaning the dogs!

One of the worst experiences
The hotel is nothing like what they saw it in the picture. They didn't have towels in the room and we had to ask them to bring them. Also there was no hot water. I would surely not recommend it.

The room was ok - we booked for 3 but gave us a two person room but we agreed though sleeping was a little tight - just be sure to confirm in advance. Also there was no hot water in the morning or evening.

We stayed here (as planned) for just one night. The hotel staff was very helpful with restaurant suggestions and directions, and they assisted us to arrange a guide for Machu Picchu. But there was not hot water for the showers (or at least not enough), which seems strange for a hotel. On the other hand, I don't see anywhere in the description that there would be hot water. Otherwise, the accommodations were good and fit our budget.

The address that come up is incorrect so we had a difficult time finding the place. When we called the number listed a child answered the phone so it must not be correct. Luckily the local police are very helpful and showed us the way. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The facility is average and the Wifi above the 2nd floor is spotty at best. The location is a short walk to the train station and the hot springs, and restaurants are very everywhere. It’s also a short walk to the busses to Machu Picchu. Get good directions before you go, stay on the first two floors, and you’ll have a great visit to Aguas Calientes.

Very small hotel, we were helped by checking in early, there is a lot of noise and you can almost here everything from every room. Over all, ok.

Aguas Calientes is a place full of many limitations in comparison with other cities, so services are limited to maximizing spaces and providing the best possible comfort to our visitors.

Very nice little place close to the busses and train. It was a little noisy at night. The staff is very friendly. The staff printed my tickets, met us at rhe train station a d walked us up to the Hotel, a d fed us breakfast at 0430.

Hotel was in a great location. Very easy to get around. Staff were very friendly and helpful with directions. Breakfast was good. Able to leave your luggage with them if going upto Machu Picchu and they will deliver it to the station at the time you give them

Situated in a good area, comfortable bed. Thin walls so can be very noisy especially if needing an early night for Machu Picchu, someone tried opening my door in the middle of the night which was totally uncalled for. All the plug sockets were American (usually throughout Peru European) even though there was a radiator with European plug make of it what you will. They don't take Mastercard so was a pain breakfast was decent enough. Windows facing some sort of courtyard and one of my windows was eye level with the stairs so that was a bit uncomfortable. Okay for a night and a place to leave the bags P.s. bring ear plugs

We try to always give you the best, on the subject of someone trying to open their door at midnight, it can be some confusion of another guest that usually happens (we can not control everyone), noise is a relative issue, there is a date in those that the town of Machupicchu becomes very noisy because of the theme of the festivities.

The hotel is nice, and close to everything (Machu Picchu Pueblo is so small, there are no bad locations). This hotel is just around the corner from a large soccer field where there were several groups practicing dances to loud music, or their band performances, or their ball skills, with gusto from quite early in the morning . If you’re looking for quiet, this is not the place. We find it interesting to be in the heart of lively local activity! Breakfast was the usual set of satisfactory options which worked for us.

Someone use the key to open our door in the middle of the night at 4ish . Im not sure why maybe try to checkout who’s asleep and steal money ???

Not much to like
Don't know what other places are like in Agua Calientes, but I'd try something else if we were to go back. Room was cold, no heat in the room. Noisy, street noise and also whenever the person in the room next to us was entering their room it sounded like they were trying to get into ours, always woke me up. On a two week trip to Mexico City, Lima, Cuzco, and Machu Picchu, this was the most expensive and least pleasant room we had. Water wasn't running one morning.

Mold in the room
The staff was accommodating and friendly. We were able to check in at 11am instead of having to wait until 3pm. The room had mold on the ceiling. Underneath the beds looked like they have not vacuum that carpet in about 10 years. The shower didn't drain the water fast so our feet would be in a pool of water. Breakfast was good and had a good selection.

The room was noisy because the walls are thin. The furnishings are run down and not worth $140/night. However, the staff was extremely pleasant and friendly!!!

Consider this a Hostel... not a hotel
We booked based on some positive reviews, but be warned. There are 3 different Inti Punku locations in Aguas Calientes. We stayed at the one near the soccer stadium and it was horrible. The NOISE was overwhelming. The walls are paper thin. Doors slamming, people talking, moving around, TVs playing... it was endless. The hotel staff did nothing. I thought they would ask guests not to shout in the halls but they didn't. The bed was very uncomfortable as well. The sheets kept pulling off the mattress and there were "strange" stains on the comforter. The shower was horrible. The nozzle sprayed everywhere and temperature was all or nothing. Scalding hot or freezing cold. We made friends in Aguas Caleientes who had a better experience at a $10 hostel. We should have stayed there. Book somewhere super cheap, or go the extra mile and splurge. It would be worth the money to have a really nice hotel in this wonderful place. Just don't stay at Inti Punku.

Gente amable pero instalaciones decepcionantes
Pasamos una noche en el establecimiento de camino a Macha Picchu y como lugar para pasar la noche, supongo que cumplió con su función. El personal nos fue muy amable en cada momento y fueron quizás lo mejor de la estancia. La habitación olía desafortunadamente a humedad, parecía que estaba impregnada en todo. El agua caliente funcionó por la noche (con un chorro tan potente que casi dolía) pero al día siguiente por la mañana no. El desayuno muy escueto (que no tiene por qué ser problema) con detalles básicos como la cafetera apagada con café frío, la tostadora desenchufada, etc. El hotel está muy cerca de la estación de trenes.

Foi razoável! O quarto em que ficamos era bom com cama king confortável, mas o chuveiro não esquentou de manhã e o marido tomou banho gelado. Durante a noite muito falatório, mas ignorei e dormi! O staff foi gentil e prepararam café cedo pra subirmos para Machu Picchu, além de guardarem nossas mochilas.
