Rates are subject to change. Availability and restricted dates apply. Daily breakfast for 2 at Rossio restaurant is from 7 AM – 11 AM Monday – Saturday and from 7 AM – 10:30 AM Sundays. Breakfast must be charged to room folio and will be credited upon check-out. Guests must book a stay in the “Include Breakfast” rate category to qualify. 20% spa treatment discount is applicable to services received Monday – Thursday only and excludes public holidays. Selected spa treatments include a la carte treatments at the Main Spa. No discounts will be given for treatments received at the VIP Spa. Guests should notify Spa Reception directly before purchasing spa products or receiving treatments to ensure they receive the discount. All inclusions have no cash value and can only be utilized during the same stay. This promotion is non-transferable, subject to availability, and cannot be combined with any other MGM MACAU promotion. Reservations must be cancelled 48 hours prior to arrival to avoid one-night room charge penalty. All prices are subject to tax and/or service fee and based on double occupancy on a per-night basis. “Internet Ripoff”

“Great hotel, close to tourist attractions”

We booked 2 nights in the MGM in Macau, to break up a week in Hong Kong. From check in to check out we found the service to be excellent. Simon the guy at the check in desk was helpful and friendly, the hotel is in excellent condition, and the rooms are massive (even more so after spending a few days in Hong Kong). We had breakfast included with our rate, and the breakfast buffet had a great choice and the food was excellent quality. From the MGM it was a short walk to the other nearby casinos, and just a 18 minute walk to Senado square. we walked there twice, once just to soak up the vibe and another time to visit the other sights. All in all, I enjoyed my time here, and would recommend it to everyone.

Area recommendations

Senado Square is a great place to hand out. Reminded my very much of downtown Lisbon. There is some great eating in the area.

“Wow- what an amazing hotel!”

MGM Macau is the best hotel i stayed at! also stayed at the MGM Vegas twice and there's nothing to compare! this one is new and really fancy! The hotel staff was great and upgraded my room to a huge suite!!! I enjoyed every minute there! Try it!

“Best hotel i've stayed in and wished we stayed a second night”

The room was one of the most luxurious rooms that I have stayed in, and the price for this hotel was very decent and affordable. If I return to Macau, I would definitely stay at the MGM again. We only stayed one night as we were told that there was not much to do in Macau except eat and play in the casinos. That is not true as we had spa treatments which was very good, and by the end of the night we wished that we had booked 2 nights at the hotel.

Area recommendations

Most hotels in Macau seems to have shuttle buses to take you to the main city attractions so getting around was not a problem. The main city square is a good area to start sightseeing and walk up towards the ruins and the castle (sorry can't remember the names of the sights).

Getting around

Tip: use the hotel shuttle buses to get around. We used taxis until we realised that there were all these shuttle buses that could take you from A to B within the whole of Macau.

“Pricey, but OK”

Macau is good for about a day and then wears a bit thin. The casino area is totally boring unless you really want to gamble. The old town is the only reason to visit. The MGM Grand is a 5 star hotel and is certainly adequate within this category. There is a $20 a day charge for internet which struck me as unreasonsable and penny pinching for a 5 star hotel. The MGM is probably no better or worse than other high end hotels. The front desk staff were very helpful in getting a couple of things printed for me.
