"Strange checkin process, reception is at the Hub not in the Hotel, I may have missed communication on this but a lot of walking about just to check in Car chargers need bettering, current type have no instructions and no staff (5 of them) knew how they worked or more importantly released the cable!"

"Absolutely gob-smacked when we arrived at the Barnstaple Hotel, it was fantastic and totally unexpected. Staff were lovely, ambience great and it was just so welcoming. It was a fairly last minute booking, a one night stay and I hadn't really taken much notice of reviews etc. Great regret that I hadn't packed my swim-wear as the pools looked so enticing. Our room was so comfortable, such a shame that we couldn't spend longer there. Couldn't fault the hotel at all and we will definitely make a point of returning to Barnstaple and spending a few days at the Barnstaple Hotel, it was a holiday in itself."

"What a fabulous hotel. The couple who run it and own it Rebecca and Steve are the perfect hosts (apart from Steve’s Dad jokes). The food is always freshly cooked to order. Hot when it arrives and very tasty. The whole experience is amazing. From the beauty of the decor to the amazing layout, bar, dining and lounge area. Rebecca and Steve work extremely hard to make the stay as enjoyable as possible. We will be going back in the near future. Don’t miss out by looking elsewhere. "
