Good size room with tea and coffee making. Cycle storage. Staff went out of their way to provide me an early breakfast. Walking distance from restaurants etc.

Very clean and comfortable bedroom. Excellent breakfast. Close to the town and lots of eating choice within walking distance. Parking is available on the cul de sac adjacent to the house. The only thing missing was an easily accessible plug in the bedroom, although there was a usb tower.

Very friendly hosts. Comfortable bed with feather duvet! Very clean room and we found it surprisingly quiet especially as the bnb is on the main road and we were in the front room. Breakfast was delicious and the hosts were super helpful accommodating our 10 month old as well. Thoroughly recommend!

Wonderful service from a clean and friendly B & B
My husband and I stayed overnight at Avalon, prior to joining a cruise. From the beginning of our stay, where we were made so welcome, to the end where we received a yummy full English, (included in the price), we can honestly say that a stay here is excellent value for money. The premises and the room was spotless and I would have no hesitation in recommending this wonderful B & B as a place to stay.

Great b&b, have stayed a couple of times now and it’s perfect for me. Nice rooms with thoughtful touches that are impeccably clean and comfortable, Easy parking and a two minute walk into the town for a range of amenities.

Really enjoyable stay in beautiful surroundings

Outstanding B&B, this is how it should be done. Really nice room with thoughtful touches to make the stay easy and comfortable. Great location with a two minute walk into Lyndhurst and easy access to the rest of the New Forest. I enjoyed my stay here and will definitely be back.

Lovely house and hosts
Nick and Judith are fantastic hosts. Their communication before the trip was fantastic, and during the stay were lovely to talk to. Breakfast was lovely, served in a relaxed atmosphere. Rooms are big with all the nessesary amenities, bed comfy and rooms well insulated from other guests and outside noises. Taxis are easy to source to and from the B&B. An overall fantastic stay, thank you

Top quality B&B
Judith and Nick run a superb place; comfortable and spotless and very well situated near the centre of Lyndhurst, yet quiet. They are the perfect hosts, giving guests a warm welcome and a top quality breakfast ( in my case the best scrambled eggs I’ve had in a long time! ). Little touches, like fresh milk in the bedrooms to make a good cuppa, add to the quality. I would strongly recommend Avalon House.

Great find for the New Forest and coast
Excellent b&b. Friendly hosts. Lovely breakfast. Bed very comfy. V large dark wood furniture not really used or necesssry but it didn’t detract from our very successful stay. Would highly recommend.

Amazing B&B
We both really enjoyed our stay. The B&B is situated within walking distance to Lyndhurst and perfectly positioned to explore the New Forest. Judith was a perfect host. Her attention to detail was second to non. The breakfast was amazing (especially the scrambled eggs) and set us up for the day. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect base for a New Forest adventure
We had a lovely couple of nights stay at Avalon House. Judith (the host) was in touch the day before to arrange check-in time, and we had fresh milk in the room for tea and coffee. The room was clean and the bed was hugely comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and filled us up for a day of cycling. The B&B is situated just a short walk from the town and was very easy to find. All in all a fantastic stay, and have already recommended this place to a couple of friends who are looking to visit the New Forest in the future!

Judith and Nick made us feel so welcome in their lovely B&B. The location is great, just minutes from the centre of Lyndhurst with plenty of pubs and restaurants to choose from. There is some off street parking at the B&B which is a bonus. The full English breakfasts are cooked to order and customisable. The quality of breakfast was superb, a perfect way to start the day before trekking around the New Forest. The room was comfortable and clean. There's great attention to detail with the quality of bedding, towels, soap, tea making facilities, a solid WiFi signal, Netflix on the HD tv. I would highly recommend Avalon House and would come back again. Thank you to Judith & Nick for your warm hospitality!

This was one of the best B&B stays my husband and I have ever had. From before our arrival, Judith was helpful and communicative, sending detailed instructions on how to find the property. She welcomed us with a warm smile and showed us to our huge room. Everything was immaculate, with great attention to detail around the whole room. Location-wise you couldn’t really get any better! Lyndhurst is a 3 minute walk away with everything you could want; fantastic restaurants and great local shops. The shower was probably the best I have used - fantastic strength and fully adjustable temperature. The bed was very comfortable and huge, with fluffy bedding. Breakfast was also top class with quality ingredients making for a delicious start to the day. I couldn’t fault this stay at all.

Really lovely and cosy place in the New Forest
The room was really cosy, ideal for our two day stay in the New Forest, central and easy to get to the different areas of the National Park. Judith and her husband were really warm and welcoming. The breakfast was amazing. Would recommend staying there!
