The property was in a fabulous location for views of the river. It was slso very close to shops, bars and restaurants. The staff were helpful and kind. Overall experience was wonderful in Louang Prabang.

We enjoyed a very comfortable two nights at the Saynamkhan River View Hotel. The Western breakfast was excellent, with more food than we could eat. The staff were all very polite and helpful. We will come again!

Nice place walking distance to night market but motorbike needed to explore. Staff was very nice and amazing had issues with shower flooding fixed it immediately.

Cannot recommend enough
We loved our stay here! We were here a while and it was great for a long stay. Very convenient to the night market and all the bars and restaurants. Great breakfast each morning and so nice to hang out on the porch and people watch. Next door to one of the temples too, you can tbeat this spot it was very nice clean and comfortable

Wonderful Stay
I arrived very early in the morning having booked on the day due to leaving another guesthouse down the road which was very unclean. I was greeted by a friendly man on the front desk (I'm sorry I didn't get your name) he allowed me to keep my bag in the office and helped me book a minivan to Vang Vieng. When I was able to check in my bags were moved to my room. I had room 100 with balcony overlooking the river. Room was spacious and clean, hot water avaliable and a couple of English TV channels including HBO. My room was cleaned each day, great location. All staff friendly. I wish I had booked here originally. Thank you all.

Loved the wooden shytters, iur street level patio, breakfast delivered as our room(100) was next to main reception. Is a bust traffic corner at 6am( very close to alms giv I ng) and 5 to 630pm(local traffic) but part of charm for us. Location/view worth it

We were here in 2019. We loved our street level patio looking toward the river. Fab deck delivered breakfast as our room is adjacent to the main area. Ask for room 100 if you can. The owner is very nice.

This is a great place to stay. It has a lot of character, great location, staff very accommodating and includes breakfast. We would stay here again.

location was good
I should not expect too much for this price but it was a classic old inn. We only stayed one night, old shower room was very very basic one,neighbour's rooftop views and many mosquitoes from riverside bush were happy to attack me silently. I can't trust tripadvisor's rating system anymore!!

The location is great - right by the town but slightly away from the main street. Can be noisy at night time, from the street or people in the hallway. The staff are lovely and the breakfast was simple - select from western or asian the night before. Always a plate of fresh fruit which was lovely. The property is simple, the room reasonably small, bed bumpy and bathroom basic but the location and staff make it.

Very nice hotel, the Lao wooden rooms are big and very nice, however beds are very hard!, hotel can provide cheap transportation to the waterfall and airport

It’s located close to the market, temple and namkhan river. Nice view for breakfast but facilities in room need mainternance - broken shower holder, wood window shade was banging with air compressor which makes noisy sound.

The Saynamkhan River View is in a perfect location in Luang Prabang. It's one block from street hosting the daily Night Market and the Monk's morning procession to receive alms. But the hotel's location is a more peaceful spot overlooking the Nam Khan river. It's also approximately 3 blocks from the former Royal Palace and several temples and monasteries, including one across the street.. The hotel staff was very helpful and friendly.

Come for the view but nothing else.
The hotel has a great location but everything else leaves much to be desired. The rooms are dated, with peeling wood and plaster. The room we had had a river view and that’s all that was appealing about it. The bathroom was small and smelt of damp and ‘drain’. There was tepid water coming out of the shower and when we complained we were told that that was what hot water felt like. One morning I woke up to find a cockroach in the toilet. The staff were however friendly and tried their best to help us, it’s just too bad that they work in a guest house that isn’t really working all that well. For £37 per night I guess I shouldn’t have expected too much but a hot shower during the winter season in Luang Prabang shouldn’t feel like a luxury.

Superb experience
I really enjoyed my stay here. Clean room, peaceful area with a view of Bamboo bridge at the front. Good location within easy walking distance to main tourists attractions and morning/night markets. The staff were nice and very friendly. Special thanks to Aay and Uthit. You two are awesome. Asked Uthit to take photos at front of the hotel, he was really good photographer :) I definitely come back here again. Highly recommend!

Enjoyable Stay
Our first visit to Luang Prabang. Hotel conveniently located within the Unesco designated area. Great location to participate in early morning Alms giving and also to explore. Value for what we paid. Thanks to Mr Edith, Mr Oitchit and others at front reception for their helpfulness. Room comfortable. We like the balcony best of all where we can seat/relax/sip over cup of tea or coffee.
