Thank you for the opportunity to help future travelers understand our pricing and what we offer. You stayed with us during a popular summer weekend which will always be the highest rates of the year. The other San Juan Islands property you stayed at cost less because it was during the week. It's important to remember you are going to pay more for a weekend getaway than a weekday one during the summer. We are also not a bed and breakfast, we are a hotel. We apologize that you missed this detail. We serve a very light breakfast that we deliver to your door each morning. This gives you the ability to eat it in your room, at the ferry landing, or at one of our island's beautiful beaches. Most of our guests appreciate the flexibility and privacy this option gives them but we understand this is not for everyone. Again, thank you for your stay and review. To future guests, Edenwild like Lopez Island is a quaint and quiet experience. We are the island less traveled. You will not find lots of shops and restaurants here. You will also not have to contend with crowds and the complications that come with civilization. If you are looking for a gentle place to connect with nature we might be right for you!
