The walls are very thin could hear the neighbours next door including their TV and coughing. Bathroom floor had an oily feel to it. Mold in the bathroom which can be soted out. Fridge was a little grubby. Light above dresding mirror not working but not a deal breaker. Other than that had a great evening. Oh and great that the RSL is connected.

Wayne at the front desk was very good on check in. Later concerns were: 1. The door, connecting us to the next room, was not very sound proof. 2. Electrical poorly designed, You had to get out of bed to turn the bedside lamps on or off. If not daylight, lights did not make the room bright enough. 3. Dirty cups and glasses in room. Left them soaking and told front desk on check out. 4. Bedside clock radio unplugged. Plugged it back in but did not know how to reset, 5. Dining/Bar Staff seemed to expect that we knew how things functioned. Did not listen or explain well. 6. Dining/Bar service was after the fact and only upon request.

It is less than 5 mins drive from the entrance and much quieter. Some rooms has the lake view which is very nice at sunset time. It’s about 5 min walk to the jetty. All staffs were helpful and attentive. Some area could have a bit of TLC (eg bathroom and some minor stains on towel) but overall it was a pleasant stay.

Great and fuss free stay at this property. Everything I needed, nothing I didn’t. I even left my glasses behind (they fell under the bed somehow) and Gerard went above and beyond in asking the housekeeping team to search for them and then getting them sent to me. Amazing customer service!

The general experience was positive, a small room like what you expect from IBIS, and it was clean and nicely designed. The staff weren't really helpful as they rejected my request to change room to a better view and they did it very roughly without any empathy. Though I meant to stay there only one night and the hotel has more than 50 rooms! and I am sure it wasn't fully occupied! They charged me $230 for one night WITHOUT Breakfast! and the TV was meant to fit with casting from my mobile phone which didn't work either! I do not recommend the place!

Functional, clean but not a tourist destination.
Classic chain hotel. Reception staff very good, no issues there. Location not really a tourist destination. Hotel was clean and very functional. No major complaints but maybe a bit overpriced for what it delivers.

We liked that we could walk internally to the Diggers Club and because we were staying at the Ibis we were treated as members of the club. This saved us quite a bit of money on food and drinks. We also liked that we could open the window in our room to enjoy some fresh air. It was very quiet we didn't hear a sound also the bed and pillows were so comfortable. If we are ever in The Entrance again this is where we would stay. Highly recommend.

Great choice for any traveler
2nd stay in 9 weeks at IBIS Styles The Entrance. Loove the location, the friendliness of the staff and the dining options at Diggers, easily accessed from the hotel. 2nd stay for me and 1st for husband, he was just as impressed as me. Our room had a great view and had all the amenities for a short stay. Parking is on-site. bathroom is small but adequate and the KING bed was definitely a good reason for my tall and broad husband to stay Ibis Styles.

What a Gem
What a GEM, stayed here 1night in room 412 with a pleasant view. Stayed 1 night to break up trip further north along Eastern Coast. Friendly check-in at reception. Great informational pamphlets about what's on around the district for that week. Diggers was a good clean friendly Club for meals. Only negative is that whoever occupied room 412 before me left a huge round tub of chocolate ice-cream crammed into the tiny freezer section of the mini fridge it leaked within the fridge and onto the carpet beneath the fridge. I discoved this mess when I opened the fridge to get milk for a cup of tea. The lady on reception that evening quickly came and gave the fridge a wipe over and pulled the jammed ice-cream tub out of the tiny freezer box. Housekeeping should check all fridges thorougly after guests check-out.I loved this IBIS Styles and it's location it is now on my list of places to stay in future. Thank you to the staff.

The room was clean and bed was very comfortable. TV was fully operational and parking was a breeze. The air conditioner was fully operational but a little noisy to sleep with.

BEST ACCOMODATION AT THE ENTRANCE
Lovely place to stay. We come up every year for my birthday in June. Always clean & tidy. Staff are always friendly. Parking on site is great. Best place to stay at The Entrance. Will be back again and again.
