Washroom was good but small, though the shower was large and great. Washroom door didn't really close. More hooks or hangers would be good. Otherwise, room was good value for being on the edge of Zone 1.

There was only one small window in our room that we couldn't open, and the climate control unit would kick on every few minutes at night, and was a bit noisy. Otherwise, everything was as advertised. Comfortable bed, big shower, nice and clean. Easy check-in & check-out, nice to be near the Underground, and there is a bus stop right across the street. One note, the page says there is free coffee & tea available in the lobby, but the bar isn't staffed until 3pm, and the room only had a kettle for tea, no coffee.

amazing would go again
amazing experience with everything start to finish, especially with the lovely woman behind the bar who went above and beyond. bathroom was clean and room was very cosy.

Could not find a negative thing to say. Clean, warm (when I worked out how to use the air con) and lovely surprise of fresh coffee and cafetière. My daughter goes to QM Uni so perfect location for visits to see her. I will be back 😊

Good size room and TV , comfortable stay ,ground coffee in room a nice touch. Got back on our 2nd night and the key code didn't work, luckily the bar was still open to sort us a new one ,otherwise we would have been locked out, this is a worry

Subpar Experience Due to Excessive Noise
I regret to say that my stay at this establishment was far from satisfactory. The rooms are situated above a pub, which significantly contributed to a high noise level throughout the duration of my visit. This issue was exacerbated by the extractor fan from the kitchen, the sound of which resonated loudly in the room, making it difficult to concentrate or rest. Additionally, the reception area is inconveniently located inside the pub, which creates an atmosphere that is less than ideal for guests who are checking in or requiring assistance. In summary, I cannot recommend this establishment for those seeking a quiet and comfortable environment.

Hi - sorry about your stay being disappointing. We'll more effort to let customers know that the rooms are above the bar, what time it shuts and that 'reception' is not like a traditional hotel.

Basic but fine
The room was clean, basic but well furnished, just what we needed for a budget stay. The staff in the bar were friendly and helpful. The ac was particularly welcome. The closed window leaked during a rain storm in the night.

We had a very clean and comfortable room. Great shower and bed was very comfortable. Staff were all great and really friendly! For the price I would definitely recommend staying here as it's a great location and good if you are doing a weekend in London. One thing I would suggest is darker or blackout curtains or blinds possibly to make it easier to sleep in!

The hotel was lovely. It was very clean and quiet and in a great location. However the fact that there were no staff present during the tine the pub wasn’t open wasn’t idea. The shower in my room was broken as was a light bulb but there was no one to report it too was I left before staff arrived and then came back late after they had left

Nice place to rest your head.
Stayed here are we were going to All points East, would have liked to be able to check in at 2, but we could have left our bags. Room was nice, the bed was really comfy and the air con was amazing. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location for an overnight stay only 5 minutes walk from tube station. My only concern is something were to happen over night the availability of staff, as I tried to call them when I left the following morning as left something in my room there was no answer and no staff around to be seen.
