"There was no toilet paper. I made a request and was given a partially used toilet paper, not brand new. They refused to accept the electronic confirmation number from hotel.com. I had to pay cash from my pocket. I went back with a printed receipt and was refunded two weeks later after I had already left the country. A friend had to pick it up on my behalf. Breakfast was not served as stated at the website. Will never go there again!"

"The description of this property is a bit misleading-it's more of a guesthouse than a hotel (the 'complimentary amenities' was a used bar of soap put back into a well-worn box!)-basic room (bed, table and cupboard). "Check in was a lil chaotic because we got there and it seems like they weren’t expecting us because we weren’t in their system. When they finally found us they didn’t get the updated reservation. I just wish they communicated with us what was happening instead of having us seat and wonder what was going on after a long travel with a 1yr old. When we were checking out they printed us the bill and it had the hotel charge again even though everything was already paid for. Just lots of technical problems. We did book this through hotels.com so that might have been the problem. Very cute Afro decorated hotel with local art as decor. There are mosquitos were any & everywhere in the hotel. The room AC is not cold enough even though it was on 16 so we couldn’t keep the mosquitoes out because it wasn’t cold enough. The restaurant is overpriced for what you get. Overall I just feel like they could do better. Though their WiFi has to be one of the better WiFi I’ve ever used in Africa. The airport shuttle is also a plus."
