Hillside Villa, Panoramic Sea Views, Beaches, Marine Reserve

Ideal Sardinia villa overlooking scenic Porto San Paolo PSP) village and the Tavolara Marine Reserve and Mountain National Park. Within walking distance of PSP cafes and restaurants as well as PSP beach and marina, where ferry departs regularly for Tavolara island.

Due to the jagged, scenic coastline there are numerous nearby sandy beaches, including several secluded that can be reached only on foot (we provide directions!). Many of the beaches feature wide swaths of sand with shallow water that are great for families and children.

Water sports, including scuba diving, wind- and kite- surfing, fishing, seaside and mountain walking paths, golf, horse back riding are all activities on offer in the PSP area.
Olbia International airport nearby and port is only 15 kilometers away while Alghero is 1 hour 20 minutes by car.

For experienced scuba divers or those wishing to learn PSP has a diving school and shop with trips in the protected marine reserve. As no fishing is allowed in the reserve it is one of the few places in Sardinia where fish life is plentiful and coral reefs protected. There are also various nearby ship wrecks, including several from WW II. The ship wrecks offer shallow water diving experiences for beginners and deep water for veterans.
There are also dive ships in nearby Punta Aldia and Capo Cavallo.

Boats depart regularly for the Isola de Tavolara from the PSP marina. On the Tavolara island there are various beaches and restaurants. It is possible to hire a guide and trek to the top of the 550 meters (1,750 feet) peak.
Numerous exciting day-long excursions are possible from PSP, including a visit the Isola della Maddalena National Park or the spectacular cliffside village of Bonafacio on the southern tip of Corsica. Another day trips include a visit to the Cala Luna caves and coves or the Gola Su Gorropu, which is considered the ``Grand Canyon'' of Europe.
Inland from PSP there are numerous agriturismo dining experiences that include sumptuous meals featuring locally grown food and wine are served.

Great place and host

dream vacation
A quick drive from the airport. We were 5 adults from different corners of the world. From the moment we each arrived at the house we were instantly relaxed. The house is clean, comfortable and very spacious. We especially enjoyed the two terraces - relax, eat, hang your beach clothes to dry :) The location is fantastic. Quiet and peaceful with incredible views that continued to impress. A quick drive or even walk into town. Joe and Marisa provided a ton of useful information and were quick to respond to any questions we had. I look forward to coming back here soon!

Excellent accommodation
This house is perfect , we stayed with 6 people and there was enough room left for privacy. The view from the balcony is astonishing great view on Tavolara island. Everything you need like dishwasher, washing machine, towels etc etc is available. The owner gave us some nice tips and is available for all questions. In the village there is a nice bar where we took a coffee and croissant every morning. Really perfect house !!! For sure we will be back.

Fab villa for a perfect stay - Il posto perfetto per una vacanza perfetta
We spent a week at this charming villa, which has great views of the Sardinian coast and the Tavolara island. The villa was super clean, spacious and very comfortable for our family of four. Everyday we had breakfast and dinner on the lower terrace while enjoying watching the sea. At night it was super quiet, which was great. The villa is also conveniently located less than 5 minutes from the shops and within 15 minutes of some spectacular beaches, including Capo Coda Cavallo, Cala Finanza, Porto Istana and many others. The host is super friendly. I would recommend staying at this villa any time. Abbiamo trascorso una settimana da sogno a Villa Vista Tavolara. Abbiamo trovato la casa estremamente pulita, spaziosa e davvero confortevole per la nostra famiglia. Ogni mattina e sera mangiavamo nella terrazza inferiore godendoci la vista spettacolare sul mare sardo e sull’isola di Tavolara. La casa si trova a meno di 5 minuti dai negozi e a 15 massimo da spiagge memorabili come quelle di Capo Coda Cavallo, Porto Istana e Cala Finanza. L’host e’ molto cortese. Consiglio vivamente a chiunque un soggiorno in questa struttura.

Toller entspannter Aufenthalt
Das Ferienhaus ist ruhig auf einem Hang in einer Wohngegend gelegen. In fahrbarer Nähe sind viele tolle Strände. Zu Fuß nach Porto San Paolo ist für uns nicht machbar, der Weg ist doch weiter und geht zurück steil bergauf - ein Auto ist also von Nöten. Die Aussicht von der Terrasse ist dagegen sehr schön! Check-in und Check-out war problemlos. Die Einrichtung ist zweckmäßig, aber die Ausstattung in der Küche könnte etwas mehr sein. Die beiden Bäder groß und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Was dringend ausgetauscht werden müsste, sind die Matrazen - diese haben ihre besten Jahre lange hinter sich... Alles in allem ein toller Aufenthalt!

A marvellous week in Sardinia
The location of the Villa is great: you can easily reach by car a lot of very impressive beaches or if you want just to walk you can reach some nice destinations not too far away. The villa is on a small hill, overlooking the Tavolara island, not far from the little town, reachable on foot in a few minutes, where you find supermarkets, bars, souvenir shops, gelato places and some nice restaurants. The house itself has everything you need for you staying, it is well equipped (air conditioning, dish washer and washing machine) and it is fresh and clean. The owners are always ready to answer to your questions and happy to help and give suggestions to enjoy your vacation. Highly recommended. We'll definitely go back there!

Wunderschönes Haus, tolle Lage; leider sehr ungepflegt !
Herzlicher professioneller Empfang in einem sehr gut gelegenen Haus in schöner Umgebung durch Rosella, die den Eigentümer vertritt. Vielen Dank an sie. Leider wird das Haus sehr vernachlässigt und viele Einrichtungsgegenstände sind sehr alt oder sogar kaputt. Die Matratzen sind uralt und schäbig und ich mag lieber nicht über weiteres nachdenken. Beide Ausziehsofas sind kaputt und lassen sich nur provisorisch aufbauen. Das Haus ist für 7 Personen angegeben, ein Bett muss dann aber in der Küche aufgebaut werden, was nicht wirklich ideal ist. Man stolpert von der Treppe über das kaputte Bett in die Küche. Rosella half nett Kontakt zu den Eigentümern herzustellen und die Situation zu beschreiben, da sich das Bett nicht aufbauen liess. Leider gab es statt Hilfe und Lösungssuche Beschimpfungen und Unverständnis, was nicht sehr angenehm zu werten ist. Sehr schade für Menschen, die nur in Ruhe Ferien machen möchten und wirklich keinen Streit wollen, sondern Erholung suchen. Überall sind Hinweise lieblos mit Reparaturband angeklebt, dass Wasser gespart werden soll. Völlig verständlich und richtig. Leider lässt sich aber die Toilettenspülung nicht reduzieren, so dass dieses diesbezüglich nicht möglich war. Im Tal vor dem Haus nach Westen befindet sich ein Hundezwinger. Hier jaulen und kläffen viele Hunde ständig. Bitte mit einkalkulieren. Der Grill ist leider auch sehr verdreckt und verrostet-haben uns garnicht getraut ihn zu nutzen. Das Tischfussballspiel ist total verrostet. Die Lattenroste der Betten kaputt. Die Tischtennisplatte ist leider auch kaputt. Schade für ein wirklich schönes geräumiges Haus in wunderschöner Lage. Mit einem Ausblick, der uns noch lange in guter Erinnerung bleiben wird.
