Good hotel quiet location

Posted 02-Nov-2014
Pros: Handy for all atractions and shopping.
Cons: The breakfast area could be better managed. We had to ask for table to be cleared and cleaned on 3 occasions. Also breakfast food needs to be re filled.
Location: Location good all atractions within walking distance.
Had great stay. But no hot water on 3rd night. Was very upsetting as we had arranged to go out to dinner.

Stayed many times but I was disappointed this stay

Posted 22-Sep-2014
Pros: the breakfast was varied and hot / cold selction was good
Cons: wifii could have worked, parking should be cheaper, white noise on top floor prevents you from sleeping and broken items in room need replacing!
Location: on the door step of liverpool one, albert dock and echo arena
Stayed at the Staybridge Suites in Liverpool several times. All the times before the roooms have been lovely and it has always felt like a real treat to stay here and a great base to enjoy liverpool from. This stay was very disappointing sadly. We were given an disabled room on the top floor. The room wasnt as nice as previous rooms and items in the room looked quite worn (e.g., hole in the arm of the sofa, broken basket for toilet rolls). The Wifii was not working at all in our room! The room was subjected to loud white noise all night from outside the room ... it seemed like the noise was coming from a generator or air conditioning unit outside the room, on the roof maybe - even with all the windows shut and the window vents shut the noise made getting to sleep difficult and was very distracting! The parking fee from what I recall has gone up significantly (cost £12 for the stay) and was not mentioned on the expedia website! And the coffee machine was only available at breakfast - used to be left on all day in the lounge area. I mentioned my disappointment to reception when we checked out and was told 'nobody else has ever complained about the noise ... maybe it is the fan fom the resteaurant next door?' Feels like lots of the 'nice-ness' was missing this stay and in light of the price per night I would have expected wifii and a better room to be honest. Not sure I will stay again and wouldnt reccomend to a friend anymore :0(

Everything You Could Want

Posted 19-Aug-2014
Pros: Spacious comfort; friendly, welcoming informality; and quality reflected in even the smallest details.
Cons: Don't change a thing!
Location: Located on the revitalized waterfront very near the Liverpool Tate, Museum of Liverpool, other cultural attractions, and shops and restaurants.
The rooms in this relatively new and modern hotel are very large, nicely decorated, and well appointed. Each suite includes a full kitchen, but you might not have occasion to use it because a full breakfast, with hot and cold items, is included. The spacious lobby provides a comfortable environment to relax, read the paper, and enjoy a cuppa from the self-service coffee machine that brews lattes, cappuccinos, and just about every other coffee concoction that comes to mind. The staff are genuinely welcoming and thoroughly competent. And very important to me, the room was absolutely quiet, so I could count on a good night's sleep. Staybridge is located along the revitalized waterfront, in easy walking distance from major attractions, including the Albert Dock and Liverpool Tate, as well as the Museum of Liverpool, the Maritime Museum, and numerous shops and restaurants. An enterprising walker can easily reach important locations in the city center on foot--the Walker Art Gallery, Central Library (a must-see), and Museum. The Staybridge offers a very high standard of informal, comfortable luxury that does not call attention to itself or get in your way.

Great staff

Posted 11-Aug-2014
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
Location: Right next to the Echo Arena and Albert Dock and 5 mins from Liverpool One which is superb for shopping.
Great apartments in a good location but made by the friendly reception staff who couldn't do enough to help. Would highly recommend these apartments as somewhere to stay. Liverpool is a great city to visit as well!!

One night stay meeting a friend

Posted 05-Aug-2014
Pros: Great location at Albert Docks plenty to see and do - will definitely go back and stay for longer.
Location: Echo Arena practically next door, Merseyside Maritime Museum and Tate Liverpool 5/10 minute walk plenty of bars, pubs and restaurants.
Relatives recommended Staybridge as they stayed at Easter for 2/3 nights and praised the facilities and location. We stayed in a suite for one night as we were meeting friends and didn't need to use the well equipped kitchen - but this is ideal for families.
