Nice lake side position a few kms out of town! Watch out for the floods! I stayed 10 days at $240 a night and there was no service, no cleaning during that time! Not recommended!

We understand that the recent flooding resulted in the property not being at its best & are sympathetic to the owners position however we were appalled to find the sheets had not been changed (evidenced by crinkled sheets, blood spots on sheets & pubic hairs). There was no one on site to change sheets so in an attempt to be able to manage hygiene we decided to turn the sheets over. When stripping the bed we had a large black beetle crawl out of the bed linen. We opened the linen cupboard to find very bad mould patch which in our view was unsafe. We did not sleep well & because of these conditions I had an allergic reaction causing an asthma attack. We intend making a formal complaint to the star rating and motel association.

Loved the back veranda with a nice view, room was comfortable and a good size, well located for town, without the hustle and bustle. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The room was spacious and had everything expected for an overnight stay. Ability to sit outside rear of room, overlooking man made lake built for nesting birds. Unfortunately the lake is currently a puddle due to drought conditions. Not ideal for light sleepers due to highway traffic.

Gazebo and BBQ out the front of my unit. Excellent spot to enjoy a cup of coffee after a long day of working. Very relaxing to watch the sunset. Loved the large open space of the rooms, unlike some other motels that I have stayed at.. I would highly recommend, I will be staying here again. The motel is on the main road with good access, but it is set far enough back so that the road noise during the night is virtually non existent

Business trip to town. Unwelcoming check in and room reeked of cigarette smoke. Have been staying here for twenty years with a couple of years break since last visit. Hotel has become tired and unfriendly and won’t be staying again sadly. Time for a renovation of staff and premises!!

Booked 4 rooms. One room door didn't lock at all. Wifi didn't work in furthest room. Complimentary biscuits were stale and had an ant in them. Bad smell in one room was found to be a room service tray with left over food that looked to be days old.

I stayed to attend a 50th Birthday Party, the price was value for money. The room was serviced daily & although on a main road out of town it was extremely quiet. I appreciated having a fridge, toaster & microwave available & the room was clean & comfortable with free wi-fi access. However, each morning there were ants in the Bathroom - 'marching' down the wall into the sink, although they disappeared after a short time. The exhaust fan cover was in need of cleaning. The fridge was unbalanced.

Plenty of room outside.
We stayed overnight with an active grandson and he had plenty of space outside to kick a ball and use up his energy. The room was clean, bathroom excellent and beds comfortable for the price we paid.

I stayed here about ten years ago, when it was considered one of the better motels in Lismore. It still has the large rooms and comfy beds, and the out of town setting with a view from every room. However, some of the little things are not keeping up. My shower was not hot enough, which isn't good in winter. The supply of tea and coffee was very small, though I appreciate the fact they provide fresh milk in recyclable bottles. And my greeting on arrival was positively unfriendly, a locked door and getting yelled at to wait by someone on the phone, in the middle of the afternoon.

Good location overlooking the lake.
A pleasant stay, with nice clean rooms and friendly staff. Only criticism is that the aircon is a bit dated, under powered and noisy so had to turn it off at night (but I stayed warm enough). Another first wold issue was that the hot water in the shower didn’t get above mild in the morning.
