Spacious room. The hotel was quiet, in fact too quiet it felt like a ghost town. The shopping area located inside the property was all closed and locked up, and you don't see that many guests around. Service was subpar, definitely not Hyatt's standards.

Beautiful property hindered by sloppy service
The Property is beautiful. The service by staff is not so great. When arrived , no staff to welcome or help with luggage. Arrived 3pm time slot. During departure 5am - also no one to help and say good bye. StAff is sleepy - not sure if is due to low season and not so many people.

Highly recommend, would definitely stay again. Room was large and lovely. the hotel dining was excellent. Only issues were that I couldn't get a cocktail at the bar as it was a beer-only night. Also, the breakfast started at 0630 which I had to miss as I had to leave for an early flight. There was no in-room breakfast available.

Nice hotel, but the location too far from the old town, the staff need more tranning, book the room from Expedia app. After arrived the hotel, the front desk can’t find the reservation, been waiting for almost 2 hours. Finally I Have to told the staff contect thier reserve department, after they confirm the reservation, have to wait for room clean, the staff don’t feel sorry in holetime.

Good hotel
Good hotel but a location is far from Shuhe old town(walk around 15-20 mins). From Shuhe old town to hotel-- hard to find a taxi.

Disappointing for a Grand Hyatt
We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. It is a beautiful property with nice rooms. However, during our stay, there was a lack of facilities for guests. Pool was closed without prior notice and the advertised game room cannot even be considered as such. The Chinese restaurant is the most disappointing part of this hotel. The food is not great for the prices they are charging. The service was non-existent at the restaurant. We had to ask for everything and the staff did not anticipate any of our requests. However, when we voiced this to the hotel, they were apologetic and tried to make it right.

pleasant stay
huge hotel,spreading on a large area. The room, although quite far from the lobby and restaurant, is nice and comfortable, staff well trained to provide a good customer service, complementary transport to the airport. overall, a pleasant stay. just a note: hotel not close to commercial areas. But taxi is cheap

Amazing Hotel - Amazing View - Amazing Place
Full disclosure: I am a non-Asian American traveling alone in China with limited Chinese skills. When faced with 'issues', I rate the hotel staff by how much they work with me to resolve the problem. Travelers without Chinese skills will still find it very easy to work with hotel staff, especially in the restaurant and tea house. First, I got lost coming back to the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain Tourist Service Center. To make an hour ordeal simple, I got off at the wrong bus stop and no one there spoke English. HOWEVER, several phone calls later (yes, I had a Must Have Chinese phone number), two different managers and 4 different language levels and I was back where I belonged. A HUGE shout-out to the staff of the Hyatt Mountain Lodge for coming to my rescue. The smile I found on a selfie I took told it all - I forgot about everything except enjoying the moment. Yes, you could stay here a month leisurely enjoying all the sights and it would not be a wasted 30 days, I only had three. The hotel has a bus from Lijiang City to the Mountain Lodge. From there you take a small shuttle close to the tourist center. A bus from there (don't forget to buy some oxygen first), then on to the cable car. Once off the car, steps take you to the 15,300+ feet platform in the picture (4680m). Don't try to rush this, it is a climb up and down that takes quite a while. Maybe I can setup a Go Fund Me for my next trip!

Our hotel is near the Shuhe ancient town, and face the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, we have unique view and professional service. Expect accommodation,we are highly recommend Lakeside restaurant, which is the resort’s all-day dining complex, designed to resemble an exuberant street-food market and presenting four distinct eateries in one. There are kinds of Nakhi traditional food and western food you can choose, if you go to snow mountain hotel, you can try Yak hotpot in The Lodge restaurant. Pretty as heaven. Stayed in the king room with a view. Service at the hotel was fantastic. Staff spoke good enough English to be understood. Lovely restaurants which offered good food and wine with eager staff to help explain the menu. Sophia at the Chinese restaurant was our saviour. Gym was decent enough to sweat it out and the rooms were well appointed looked after well with an abundant supply of water. Remember China is not coffee drinking nation So most coffee are mild. Location it seems cutoff but that's the beauty - you walk ten to fifteen minutes and you are in the magical old tow of Shuhe old town and a few minutes in the other side you are in the new Lijiang part with access to all local shops and restaurants . As I the concierge for directions and don't be misled that you are no where near civilization .Would I stay here again - the answer is Yes.

Great hotel but some imperfections
Rather new and well maintained. We had a room with mountain view, which was really wonderful. One of my complaint is the lack of pillow options. Their pillows were thin and didn't provide sufficient neck support. I had to leave with neck aches for 5 nights. Breakfast was reasonable but not memorable. Menu hardly changed over the 5 days. Another complaint is the club lounge. Service is very good at the club lounge and throughout the whole hotel but cocktails at lounge was limited ala cart set menu and didn't change at all through the 5 days. Taste and quality needs improvement. Staff service is really good, especially Christine and Ada at the reception. Sunny, the f&b manager was friendly and nice. Overall, good hard, nice staff and terrific view of the mountains but food needs improvement and pillow options will be a big plus.

Great hotel if only the service could be better
The hotel is wonderfully located with great view and quiet surrounding. Rooms are well appointed, spacious, clean and comfortable. But the service level can be improved. Staff spoken English isn't great. While staying at the Mountain Lodge was great, nobody told us that we have to order our spa service 24 hours ahead and given it is slow season, the place was rather dead. To make things worse, the staff at the Mountain Lodge seems a bit too keen in selling us tickets to the Impression performance. They should also learn to look at the guest in the eye when speaking to them. Certainly expected more from a Grand Hyatt in this respect. Apart from this, the place was great.

Newer hotel in a relaxing setting
Grand Hyatt is in the Northern new part of Lijang further from airport. It's a relatively newer property. The hotel property has a beautiful setting, view of Jade Dragon Snow Mtn, and modern rooms. Breakfast had full variety. The beds were comfortable. We had a problem with the shower controls to shut off the water and ran out of hot water. We had to call the technician to come twice to fix the problem. That was the downside of experience. However, the rest of the staff were fairly friendly.

Great hotel resort with great staff.
We stayed at the Lijiang Hyatt for almost a week. It has all the things you'd expect from a five-star hotel, but what really makes the place is the staff -everyone was very friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to make out stay as comfortable as they could. Everyone was really great, from the reception, the concierge, and the friendly restaurant manager and his staff. The location is in the north of the city, and about 15-20 min from Lijiang Old Town, but waking up with a view of the Snow Mountain makes it truly worth it. Especially if you're up to watch the sunrise, and the entire mountain turns pink. It's also close to Suhe Old Town, which was really great as well.

GOOD LOCATION AND GOOD FOOD
HOTEL IS JUST OUTSIDE THE OLD CITY BUT NOT CLOSE ENOUGH TO WALK. HOWEVER, THE COMPOUND IS WELL LAYED OUT AND THE ROOMS ARE VERY SPACIOUS. ABOVE ALL I VALUED THE WESTERN BREAKFAST THAT WAS VERY GOOD.

The hotel is very new and in excellent condition. The room that i stayed at has a lovely view of the Lijiang traditional landscape and it's very peaceful. I would go back again.

Too far from city center
Relatively new hotel. Everyone was nice and friendly. But with all new hotels, a lot of hiccups. My room was flooded after a morning of rain (which happens often). Their solution was to lay towels at the front door and have someone there to sweep the water away. Hotel was away from the city center so you couldn't just wake up and walk around the UNESCO site or mingle with the locals. Everything was a taxi cab away.

Christmas at Lijiang
Brand new hotel, to the north of Lijiang, close to Shuhe Ancient Town, clustered around a central lake with beautiful view to Yulong Xueshan. It forms part of a larger residential retail complex nearing completion. Rooms are grouped in 3 level buildings around the lake, in the style of a Chinese village; they and public areas beautifully decorated and furnished. Staff all very welcoming and eager to help. Shuhe is a 15 minute walk, the larger Lijiang ancient city a 30RMB taxi trip.

環境不錯，酒店餐廳早餐，滇香馆晚餐都不錯。房內設施舊，畢竟是5星級酒店，都有應該的清潔、整齊。開水喉就有熱水，但有時水溫不穩。想起來房間床頭的usb 是壞的，電話充電最好帶齊插頭。第一天到步時門口的職員叫我把行李不要帶進登記大廳，語氣不太友善。進去發現其他客人都是自己帶著的，登記完畢後發現那個職員走了去開車送客人回房間，我那行李箱沒人看著， 那時候在旁邊的客人蠻多！

멋친 풍경, 좋은 룸상태, 친절한 스텝
방갈로에 머물렀는데 설산이 뒤로 펼쳐진 훌륭한 풍경을 볼수 있고 넓고 깨긋한 룸 상태와 친절한 스텝들 덕분에 좋은 시간을 보낼수 있었습니다만 마지막 날 저녁을 먹고 오니 조명이 들어오지 않아서 밤 10시에 결국 방을 옮기게 되었는데 같은 등급으로 옮겨 주기로 했으나 맨션 형태의 3층 방으로 바꿔줘서 조금 실망을 하게 되었습니다.

令人失望
酒店位置十分一般，遠離古城。我們本身預訂了套房，但check in員工自行安排了另外一間據說是景觀比較好但較細的房間，變相是downgrade 了。直到我們發現詢問才講，浪費了很多時間去轉房。房間中規中距，性價比低，同在麗江的州際酒店好很多。但員工態度有禮。酒店中餐廳味道好好，用了團購超便宜，兩人餐只要$128.

Good experience
I am currently staying at the hayatt hotel. The hotel is beautifully managed with traditional-style buildings on a spacious ground. There are many facilities, of which the sauna is particularly spectacular. And above all, I was impressed by the friendly staff at the grand club. Sally and Judy provided a careful and friendly service with a smile. I've booked Hyatt for the first time because member of Accor club. However, due to Sally and Judy kindness, I became more interested in using Hyatt, too.

Will not come again until they improve
Beautiful hotel but bad experience. No service at all. We have to clean the table by ourselves at the Club. The worst was they screwed up my friend ‘s hotel bill, use my credit card to settle the bill then called me and asked us to settle it by ourselves. I have never stayed the hotel like this before.
