Scott at check in was very friendly, efficient, and accommodating. Toby, the maintenance person was also very friendly and was always working and cleaning. He also found me to let me know one of the kids had left an expensive pair of goggles down at the pool, and took the time to walk down and let me in after hours so I could get them.

Our stay was great we were in walking distance to baxter brewery and we had a great view of the waterfall from our room. The breakfast was awesome along with the staff would highly recommend !

Really poor snow removal services! There was an icy storm during our stay but the clearing of snow was pretty poor.

Due to many local residents losing power and needing shelter for many days, those guests never left their parking spots allowing us enough room to clean up the individual spots this storm which is not typical but did happen. We truly are sorry you were impacted by this as it was unfair to you. I am the General Manager and was outside for two days straight shoveling and helping guests and would have been happy to help get you out if you needed assistance. It was very quiet at night. The parking was great. A very nice experience. The night clerk Scott was very helpful and great to work with.

Resented $75 Deposit which is not returned for 5 business days, holding my $ hostage. Blaming the length of hold on issuing card bank is lame. As a 70 year old single traveler without a pet, this deposit is absurd. I don't party, didn't buy anything, and if I did, would not charge to my room. I Pay as I go. Juz say'n........ridiculous.....

While I cannot speak for all hotels, I can speak about working in many hotels for the last few decades and all of the hotels I have worked in have always require a credit card for an incidental deposit. We had two federal holidays in November where banks were closed an additional day which also can cause for an incidental authorization to get released back to you. I am sorry this upset you, we were not holding your money hostage and release it immediately at check-out however your banking establishment can take up to 10 business days to release. Comfortable and clean, breakfast was good, and the people were friendly and just great. I came in pretty late at night and the staff knew who I was and treated me well. The only downside to this visit was that my room was near the end of a hall and didn't have internet - maybe just too far from the source (able to connect, but no internet). Since I was working part of the day, I had to switch up some of the things I planned to do; unfortunately, this is the kind of thing that would make me think twice about staying if I was tacking on a work day to the visit. I don't think this was an issue throughout the whole property, but it didn't work in my room.

The hotel was clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They also had a good breakfast that was included in the stay. Directly behind the hotel was a nice park and walking trail, and directly across the street from the hotel was an excellent restaurant named Fishbones Grill. We will stay here again when in this area.
