“"High crime area"”

I feel the hotel was very outdated. The wind blew threw the windows like they were open. I also had a very hard time getting the room to warm-up. On another note my vehicle that was parked rite in front of the hotel was broken into and all of my personal items were stolen. I feel the hotel could do a much better job of protecting there customers.

“Rooms need updating”

The hotel is in a great location and the staff were great. Check in was fast. The atrium and pool area are well kept and enjoyable. The rooms have not been updated. The carpet was stained and the furnishing showed their wear.

“Large rooms, a nice place to stay”

Rooms were large with a couch and two desks to work on. Courtyard area was very nice, with an ok sized pool and nice plants (All enclosed so the winter cold is not a problem). Lift was a little old and clunky, but that was all that was wrong with the hotel! Plenty of parking spaces, close to fast food and coffee shops. About a 10 minute walk to a shopping mall, and about 10-15 minutes walk to the town centre. Close to highway to Calgary, so easy access in and out of town. Will stay here again if in Lethbridge.

“Not impressed”

This hotel was probably great in 1970 but very dated. Lounge expensive, not very clean and upholstery very worn. Bedding good, bathroom very old. Carpets in halls and room stained and very worn. Lobby needs a good cleaning. Botanical garden looks good from afar but far from good. Needs a total makeover to get it into this millennium. All in all grubby and dated. In front of main lobby many many smokers. Need a smoking place not at front lobby door that one has to fight their way through the smokers. No ashtrays provided for smokers so out front full of cigarette butts. Doors to hotel open, smoke billowing in...offensive for non smokers. Lethbridge Lodge needs to get into the 21 century with regards to NO SMOKING in front of lobby.

“Lovely Lodge, but the bed stunk.”

Nice hotel with a good restaurant, lovely pool and courtyard. Rooms were well-designed, but our bed was awful. It was like sleeping on a hill that angled to the bottom corner. A couple of the worst nights of sleep ever, unless you take sleeping pills.

“very comfortable”

I was impressed by the size of the room. The bed was extremely comfortable and I had one of the best sleeps ever. The only complaint I had, there were no phone books or city attraction books in the room. Their explanation, going green.

“Would go back again.”

We stayed in this hotel on the way and on our return I booked it again. It has a lovely setting for the pool and lounge area, very nice greenery and water settings. I noticed our room was a bit more aged, and maybe could use some touch ups on our return trip, but over all the place is very nice, the staff was friendly and we had a good rest each night. The kids really liked the pool and it's a restful place to sit with the trees and plaza like setting. I would certainly book it again!

“Be prepared to use the Stairs”

Public area is very well maintained & the staff were nice but the rooms have not been upgraded for 30 years. The big complaint though was being on the 4th floor with only a slow service elevator to ride on. The hotel was full of sports teams and kids were playing on the elevator going up and down between the top floors. It took 10 minutes for the elevator to come to the lobby when we were checking in with our baggage. We used the stairs for the rest of our stay.

“Not Impressed”

The only plus was the rooms were clean but somewhat shabby. There wasn't a full length mirror in the room and the TV was probably 20 years old with bad speakers. There is a pool in the center of the hotel which was well used during our stay and very noisy until late in the evening. Management's response to the noise was unsatisfactory.
