Val Thorens, situated at 2300m, is Europe's highest ski resort which ensures snow throughout the season.
Renting an apartment of 30 sqm located in the quiet residence La Reine Blanche and is ideally facing south.
It is composed of a room for 2 people (a double bed 2 mx 1.6 m) of a room for 3 people (1 single bed (1.9 mx 0.9 m superimposed) and 1 double bed 2 mx 1.4 m).
The living room is equipped with a sofa bed for 2 people (bed of 2 m x 1.6 m) which rises the total capacity of the apartment to 7 beds.
The duvets / duvets and cushions are stored in sanitary bags available to tenants for all the beds in the cabinets provided for this purpose.

The key collection service is located at the entrance of the residence "The White Queen" and offers tenants the opportunity to RENT bed sheets and cleaning service directly in the residence. You avoid having to pass through the station on the day of arrival to get bed sheets and keys to the apartment, which is comfortable (everything is there to "The White Queen").

The dining room (living room) is equipped with a large table (2.2 m with extension for 12 seats), a bench, a sofa and stools for a dozen seating positions to receive friends to eat around a raclette - provided in the apartment.

This luxury service also includes a WiFi router that you can access with a password supplied by the owner and a HD TV of the latest generation connected to the Box free with access to hundreds of channels.

The kitchen is equipped with an oven, fridge, 4 ceramic hobs and a large dishwasher (convenient to receive many cutlery).

On health, the toilet is separate from the bathroom.
It consists of a sink, an Italian shower, storage shelves for the personal belongings of tenants as well as hangers for towels (towels and other clothes).

Numerous storage spaces are offered to tenants in the 2 rooms in order to place their belongings facilitating tenant comfort.

The adult room is also equipped with an HD TV too.

Finally, the lobby is equipped to store suits, shoes, helmets and gloves to enable better comfort in the living areas of the apartment.

All skis and snowboards are stored in the ski locker located in the ski room available to the tenant.

Obviously, departure and return to the residence is at the foot ski.

Wonderful location and apartment
We had 7 of us stay in the apartment and although it was tight we all had an amazing time. The location is fantastic with the ability to ski in and out from the ski locker. The teens also used the ladder and went straight from the balcony too. There is great use of space with storage everywhere and all cooking equipment supplied. The key pick up was easy but if possible I would suggest bringing your own linen & towels - we hired ours from the lady you pick up the key and it cost 120 euros. All communication with Philippe was easy and timely. I would strongly recommend for 5 and if location is your most important criteria it was great for 7 too.

Sour taste in the mouth
This is a decent property for skiing in Val Thorens - conveniently located and good accommodation. However, despite the owners being friendly and helpful during the booking process, the way in which check in and check out was handled has left a bit of a sour taste in our mouths. We did not receive any information about the property before we arrived - we were just told to pick up the key from the office in the block. When we did so, a very flustered lady just gave us a bunch of about 10 keys, without even telling us which floor the apartment was on. We were not given any information at all about the property or the arrangements for the end of the booking. The property wasn’t particularly clean when we arrived - the dishwasher hadn’t been emptied, the bathroom hadn’t been cleaned and the shower was blocked and didn’t smell great. However, we were there to ski and so didn’t complain as none of it was particularly serious. We enjoyed our week there (apart from the shower blockage, which continued to smell quite bad) and tried on a number of occasions to speak to the lady in the office but she was never there. We were therefore left not knowing what we should do on checkout and what was expected of us. We swept and cleaned the apartment, cleaned the surfaces and took the rubbish to the recycle bins. We left the dishwasher on with crockery in it, as it had been when we arrived. The lady in the office was still not around (this was 10am on the Saturday, the changeover da in VT) and so we eventually had to post the keys through the door of the office, texting the owner to tell us that this is what we had done. It didn’t feel particularly safe or professional, or give us an opportunity to show her the apartment to check it was all okay. Since returning, we have received a message from the owner, complaining about the way in which we left the apartment, which we are addressing with him directly. He was pleasant when I had dealings with him during the booking process and I hope he will be reasonable now. However, it does appear, as a minimum, that he is being very let down by those representing him locally, who are not doing anything but the bare minimum to maintain the apartment and are then seeking to take money from renters’ deposits to cover up their shortcomings. This is a shame. I would suggest others thinking about booking the apartment think about this carefully before proceeding.

Extremely well thought out apartment and brilliant location.
Just back from a one week stay on a ski holiday (4 friends). Perfect little apartment which is extremely clean, well thought out and has fantastic storage for ski gear and other clothes. Beds were comfortable and a good size and facilities are good. The bathroom in particular was brilliant and very modern. Communication from Philippe from booking right through to checking out was fantastic and any issues sorted straight away. The location is also brilliant and extremely handy to the slopes and all areas of Val Thorens. Highly recommend.

Great Location & Great Apartment
Firstly, I'll get to the point and recommend this apartment without hesitation. Also to save covering off what others have already I'll note the things I'd like to have known about before booking. Its ski in/out, there is a locker on the level below with lift access but its elevated up and what you cannot tell from the picture is that you can just hop over the balcony onto a bank and ski down, We used the locker the kids the lazy keep the ski's on the balcony option. Also the link run its on is easy to get to the main lifts (3V) and also the resort lifts at the start of the day and at the end you can ski back from the 3V connections or get a lift from the bottom of the resort to just above the apartment. Also the apartment was quiet even in half term week which is great in VT some of the ones on the central areas are not so, but its a two minute walk at most to the centre. WiFi was very good, and we had no problems with it at all. Some have noted it cold, not a problem we had in fact quite warm, if you sat by the doors then yes there was an air flow but just close the curtains. We had a party of 6 two couples and two singles so I think we max'd it out but it wasn't uncomfortable and the host has created really good storage options lots of shelves and hooks with a great boot rack so we didn't trip over things at all. So we'd definitely use again and recommend.

Great little apartment in an amazing location
Right from booking Philippe & Natacha were absolutely amazing. They kept us up to date with the booking process, and let us know where we needed to collect keys, linen etc from. the apartment itself was spotless, in great condition and in an amazing location. we stayed here as 2 couples and had an amazing week. the beds were comfortable, the wifi was great and the facilities in the apartment were of a great standard. we will certainly return here next time we are in Val Thorens! :D

Great stay, bad insulation
We were 2 couples staying for a week which was very lovely. Close to the pists and shopping. The apartment easily fits 2 couples and has an extra bunkbed in one of the rooms for ex children. The only bad thing was the insulation, or more the lack of it. You could feel the wind breezing through every door and window in the arpartment, more then you would expect in an old building, so the radiators was on max the entire week and spare duvets, blankets etc. were stuffed in all the openings. We would definitely stay here another time.
