Leobersdorf Holidays from £231

The Leo Grand has a lot of appeal. The design is great, the location is perfect. Wonderful high quality beds and linens and lovely Penhaligons toiletries. Breakfast was included booking via Expedia and that was a big plus as otherwise it’s quite expensive. The covered and heated courtyard which also serves as the dining room plays music til late ish as the restaurant is busy and fun - but I wouldn’t book a room overlooking the courtyard for fear it would be noisy. Our room faced the street outward and was blissfully peaceful.

It was a lovely room but the rest of the hotel felt limited on the spaces where you could enjoy and relax. The restaurant is nicely designed but staff seem quite stressed (perhaps because we stayed during Labour Day). I would suggest booking the largest room possible if you’re staying for a lengthy time.

We loved the area. IT was quiet. The breakfast was wonderful. We asked about an Uber to the airport but were told they did not use them. They recommended their Taxi service which we booked for 4:30 am. When we came down early as asked it the taxi could come earlier they said no (did not even try) and that we would be charged a fee (the entire cost it turns out). We ended up getting an Uber in 5 min at a lower rate.

The location is excellent, staff were nice. In hotel price for drinks was way too high and limited. So just avoid that and go to a local spot nearby and there are plenty. While the hotel claims Air Conditioning it is in fact only available during certain seasonal times. We were here late April in hot weather and had to sleep with windows open and there is a LOT of urban dust/dirt in the air.

Hotel it's in an excellent location. The room was a good size and it was clean. It didn’t have as many toiletries other hotels have, but overall it was pretty good.
