"On arrival all staff were showing great excitement which my wife was not aware of what was in store for her. The room was perfectly set for her birthday. It showed the staff (Viv) went above & beyond to decorate the room that brought joy to my wife on her birthday. Thanks to all the team and management for welcome us with such a fantastic experience. "Very well kept Hotel. Reception staff were very welcoming and polite. Room was good size, nice bathroom. Very clean. Breakfast Bar offered a wide range of hot and cold foods. English full breakfast was really good. Very nice pool, steam room, sauna and a small gym. "

"A friend and I stayed here as we are walking the Pilgrims Way. A fantastic find. Friendly staff, really nice and cosy rooms, quiet at night. Had dinner in the bar, lovely food and great service. As other reviews say, breakfast was a bit slow, possibly the kitchen not the service staff as they seemed on the ball. Breakfast was v tasty anyway when we did get it. Overall definitely recommend "
